Thanks. It will never be up to date, but what I realised was that militaries cannot simply keep up a consistent rate of progress. Progress seemed to happen in stages. The supply chain, admin, and other support bases also need to be established and activated. I assume the parts where less progress is evident, is mostly about consolidation.

Doesn't add up. West markets the russians as incompetent and unable to coordinate attacks yet here they are winning engagements after engagements. In luhansk the eastern pro russian separatist captured 40 towns and settlements including the admin center "nova aidar" This isn't "bogged down" or "slow" at all. This is WORRYINGLY fast. We are on day 9 and they have around 1/3 of the country (size of great britain).

Not that much land has been taken but the cities that are taken is correct and you’re not that far away from the real map just that the Russians are moving down roads and the land around them is often defended by small squads covering the flanks while the other armies push further in

I just assume Ukraine's defenders have been sent north to try to hold Kiev and Kharkiv, possibly reinforcements around Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia because they are strategic. As for the south, it seems to be the soft belly and Russia can do whatever it likes until the battle gets to Odessa.

Yeah, they played hearts of iron 4 and arma 3 the entire time before hand, definitely never fought a war before, and are now only finding out that a war requires logistics, lol. Ukraine has NEAR parity in terms of the technology they have available for their ground forces. Its not on the bleeding edge like Russia, USA, etc, but its close enough that it doesn't matter. Any of the weapons the Ukrainian army are using would make any invading force pay the same way, USA included, especially when you have both hands tied behind your back, and cannot indiscriminately bomb and shell everything in sight the way the USA did to Iraq. Its not even remotely comparable, and also, 3 weeks for the USA to take baghdad, against a far more inferior foe than Ukraine, against a populace and people that literally gave up almost right away, the entire south of Iraq practically capitulated right away. They didn't have cell phones or good wifi to film every bomb and artillery strike the United States carried out. Considering everything, Russia is quickly overwhelming Ukraine and would have done so even faster and more ruthlessly if they didn't hold back their most powerful weapons, namely their massive thermobaric bombs, not the flamethrower TOS 1, the massive missiles and bombs that would simply obliterate any resistance in an area instantly. Russia's own people live here and so they don't want to harm civilians as much as possible. You think the Invasion of Iraq went perfectly smoothly? Damn I got videos of insurgents planting IED's under bradley IFV's and detonating and killing everyone inside, parked bradleys that think they're safe. Does that mean the USA sucks? The USA has never even fought a country as modern as Ukraine, never once. This is currently the most modern conflict on earth with near parity in weapons and its showing that with modern anti tank weapons, doesn't matter who makes them, every single vehicle is totally vulnerable.

Tohle ani není o nenávisti, ale o strategické pozici Ukrajiny, o provokacích NATO, o dlouhodobé genocidě rusky mluvících lidí na Ukrajině, a hlavně neschopné vládě v UA. To že mají kašpara místo prezidenta je věc jedna (u nás taky nic moc) ale zkorumpovaná vláda pod Zeleninou díky které je Ukrajina ještě víc v háji než by byla (peníze co měly jít do výcviku a zbrojení armády shrábli papaláši (jako v každé demokratické zemi vyjma Ameriky kde jdou pro změnu do armády všechny peníze, ale jinde nejsou) proto Ukrajina nemá ani šanci vydržet dýl než 2 měsíce. Rusáci tam neposlali ani desetinu svojí vojenské síly, a NATO je z nich podělané až za ušima- je to o tom ukázat západu že Rusko je mnohem silnější než si my všichni myslíme. A je to pravda, možná i proto tenhle komentář za chvíli zmizí.

Russia's main mission was to take Kiev in 4 days by doing a blitz operation but they have been faced with Ukrainian resistance which cause to war getting longer. The reason why west was so slow to respond they first thought putin would get Donbass and won't touch other places of Ukraine (just like how it invaded South Ossetia and Akhbazia in Georgia not doing a war with it's own army but more like a military operation done with Local Militans and mercenaries) It may seen Russia winning the war on the video but totally not, Russia is a weak country about economy and this war f""ked up their economy more also it may seen funny or unreal their army sent in Ukraine is made of inexperienced soldiers and they have discipline problems. Putin's prestige got damaged along with the "strong big russia" image in global media, so if Putin does not pull back it's soldiers it might be even his end.
