There are a few things that I would like to point out -I think you should have given Belarus a color for it's role in allowing Russian military to be set up inside the country as well as invade from the country. -You could mention the actual leaders of Donetsk, Luhansk, and Belarus in this as well, along with Zelensky and Putin who are already on the screen. -While Russian cities were not invaded you could have put some cities inside the Russian portion of the map. -Lastly, I think you should have shown roads.

1) Ukraine is big (1160 km diagonally, from northwest to southeast). By area at the moment - Iraq (437 thousand km2) and 37 million people. (57% of the land area is desert). Ukraine has an area of 603 thousand square kilometers and 17% of the land is forest, especially in the North and a lot of swampy areas. 2) Half of the Ukrainian army is in the eastern direction. 3) russia is trying to avoid unnecessary casualties (it does not use artillery and missiles in the cities) - only airports and air defense.

Sumy, Chernihiv, Kherson are still standing Also, all maps like this keep drawing the occupied territories pretty liberally - most of these maps paint Slavutych (north of Chernihiv oblast) as occupied, but no Russian has entered the city. For the most part, Russians seem to go around cities, so the occupation zones on maps like this can be loose and just show where Russian forces have been. Although, I can say for sure that Nova Kakhovka and Berdiansk in the south are occupied, also some cities in Sumy oblast. Moreover, I should mention that Volnovakha and settlements around Nova Kakhovka are in a tough spot and 'on the edge of humanitarian crisis' because civilians run low on supplies (water, clothes etc.) and it is not safe for them to resupply.

I respect the Ukrainians and the news which boost their morals. But the sad reality is, the Invasion is going on pretty well for the Russian army. They lost around 4k casaulties, because of their stupid "Armoured Police Action". To invade a country like Ukraine, second largest country in europe after Russia, it needs more than a month to capture most of its territory. Germans needed a month to take Kiev in 1941 and 100000 casaulties.

Мы радовались, когда люди выходили на митинги в Хабаровске. Мы имели надежду, что нас ждет такое же будущее, что правда пересилит ложь. Но всё это оказалось по ту сторону истории, до войны. Теперь ничего кроме бесконечных репрессий и крови, швабр и "освободителей" нас увы будто не ждет. Путин убил мой мир, ему нет никакого оправдания и прощения. Никакие конфликты в соседнем суверенном!!! государстве не могут быть причиной убийства граждан соседней страны, как ими не могут быть и различные "восстановления исторической справедливости", история не терпит сослагательного наклонения. Сегодня было ровно семь лет со дня убийства Бориса Немцова, я не так хорошо был знаком с его личностью как после его смерти, но признаю, что всё что он говорил оказалось правдой, светлая ему память. Я не прощу Путину его вероломство, я никогда раньше не мог осознать насколько сильно я люблю своих родственников на Украине, у меня там живут три двоюродные сестры, две тети, бабушка и дедушка. Сегодня они прячутся от бомбежки в Черкассах, а сестра была вынуждена бросить свой дом и уехать в Польшу. Я не спал двое суток, когда это началось, но увы мало что могу сделать. Где были эти люди, когда я с 2014 просыпался от обстрелов, стрельбы... Русские просили остановить войну, а весь мир молчал и поддерживал Украину. Украину, которая обстреливала своих граждан. 14000 жертв с 2014 года и весь мир молчал!!!! И я понимаю почему, все ждали, когда будет вторжение. Ждали и провоцировали. Был чёткий план по решению проблемы, Россия просила мировое сообщество надавить на Украину, чтоб она остановила убивать людей. Никто ничего не сделал и всем было выгодно, чтоб у границ России была такая войнушка. Украинское правительство в это время воровали и списывали все на войну. Когда Зеленский заявил, что хочет вернуть статус ядерной державы, то это и в добавок обстрелы Донбасса стали поводом начала операции. Я очень хочу чтоб война закончилась, но закончится она, только после того, как США отдаст приказ Зеленскому.... Боюсь, что Россия не сдаст позиции и ей плевать на санкции и прочее.... И тогда мы увидим с вами ядерную войну....
