*Fun fact:* The "blank" rounds in-game are actually dummy rounds, not blanks. A blank round has no bullet but still contains the gunpowder and primer, meaning the gun will still go off if you pull the trigger. At very close range, the muzzle blast of a blank round will at the very least cause serious injury, which is why you should NEVER point a gun at yourself, regardless of whether it's loaded or not. A dummy round is the complete opposite; it has a bullet, but no gunpowder or primer. Since there is no primer or propellant, a dummy round will not go off no matter how hard you try.
