Hi Johnny. Outstanding performance. The kit is beautiful. No words to describe the last improvements. Soft weathering is awesome. I've really appreciated this build. Please stay safe and waiting next Friday incoming video. Best regards from France. François ❤❤❤

Wow, thanks Mike! It's a good kit for the price and builds up nicely, the little fit issues are not that bad to deal with, after all it's a Trumpeter, and I've never built one that didn't have some sort of issue, lol. Have a great weekend buddy! Johnny

That certainly looks the part there Johnny,very well done..The plastic pipes that connected to the missiles looked a proper tricky task but worth it in the end.!.Well done again and all the very best from Paul in the U.K🇬🇧🇺🇸👍

Thank you, Paul, yes, those little pipes were a bit fiddly, but we got there in the end. Hope you're having a great weekend my friend, stay safe and model on! Johnny

Very nice finish Johnny, it looks really good. The light weathering on the vehicle contrasts very nicely with the pristine finish on the missiles, adding to the overall effect. 👍👍

Thanks Gerry, that was what I was going for, didn't want to get too heavy with the mud, I like my kits more on the lean side of weathering. Have a great weekend my friend! Johnny

Thanks so much Vincent! 😊these kits are well priced and build up nicely, a value for your money. Of course, I've never built a Trumpeter that didn't have a fit issue of some kind, and this one's no different. But easily fixed. Thanks for watching, take care and model on my friend. Johnny

Wonderfull job done Johnny, masterfully weathered, i like that you just added mud and rust effects and that you kept chipping minimum! This one came out fantastic and i believe that you did good with those hoses, no point to stress the alreay tiny mounting points of those parts. Looking forward for your next project, take care and keep up the good work my friend!

Glad you enjoyed it George, I like to lightly weather most of my builds, I hate to cover up all the detail that I spent so much time trying to get right. And your right about those tiny mounting points for the hoses, they are very fragile. Thanks so much for giving it a look my friend, take care and model on!! Johnny

Hi Johnny, love this, i honestly thought it was a palette cleanser build when you started, how wrong could i be, ive learnt quite a few new techniques thanks, i think we need a countdown timer for your innuendos as i nearly spat my cup of tea out at floating log 😂. Stay safe my friend, see you friday 😊

I don't know what it is Ian, but it seems like any kit I open these days has some sort of issue to fix, lol. I kind of knew from past experience with Trumpeter that there would be a little excitement! As to those innuendos, only a mind that works like mine even catches those, that does leave me a little concerned for you!! 🤣🤣🤣Thanks so much for watching buddy, take care and model on!! Johnny

That turned out fantastic, Johnny! Your weathering is great. A lot of modelers get a little heavy-handed with the mud! The missiles themselves would not be as weathered as the rest of the vehicle, especially if they have live warheads. If the vehicle is out driving around on training exercises like ours do, then they may not have missiles on them at all. A brand new war-shot or even a reload would still be nice and shiny! So what's the next one gonna be?! 😁 I know...I know...tune in next week to find out! 🤣
@hillbillymodeling4 ай бұрын
Thanks so much, I see we agree about weathering. I think that if we are going to put time into the finer details that it's a pity to cover it all up with too much mud. 🫨It'll make a fine addition to my modeling shelf. As far as next week goes, the only clue I'll give is it's a watercraft! See you next week, enjoy your weekend buddy! Johnny

Great job again 🙏👏 how do you store / display your models?
@hillbillymodeling4 ай бұрын
Hi Morten, thanks so much. As to displaying my builds, I have some shelves that are dedicated to them, they aren't enclosed so I do have to dust them from time to time. In the future I would like to have some glass cases for the ones I really want to keep, which is all of them, lol. But, that won't be possible I know. I plan on moving next year, so, I'll worry about the ones that survive the move 😉. Thanks for watching, take care and model on! Johnny

Maybe a small bonus video from you to all of us where you show the models you have? The great thing about your Channel is the variety of subjects and the High level of details and tricks you share. Would love a virtual display tour someday 🤞👍😊

Is that a wax candle you are using for your c a glue? To transfer to the model. Thanks for the videos, Johnny. Have a wonderful weekend.

Sorry, the model looks awesome.

Yes, it is Jimmy. It's a tea light, the wax helps to keep the CA glue useable for a longer time. When it was suggested that I use one I was skeptical, but it does work. Thanks for watching, have a great weekend buddy! Johnny
