Поздрав от България. Брат, трябва да учиш руски, за да го разбираш, като майчин език. Не знам защо в Сърбия не учите руски. Исто така не е ясно, защо се отказвате от кирилицата на която пишат руснаците и българите и сте приели латиницата(шльокавица) Аз съм го учил руския език седем години в училище и го разбирам, и говоря свободно, като роден. Сръбския разбирам на 99% без да съм го учил, ясно е защо. П.П. Пиша ти на български(мога и на сръбски, но така е по-добре според мен), защото съм сигурен, че на руски ще ме разбереш по-лошо. the prices look cheap because the ruble exchange rate is very low. look at such videos from last year when the ruble to dollar exchange rate was half, the prices were much higher in dollars but the prices in rubles did not decrease. On the contrary, they increased

Tôi đã ở Liên xô những năm 70-80 của thế kỷ trước. Tuy lương không cao, xong giá lương thực, thực phẩm, rau, quả vô cùng rẻ, nên cuộc sống của người dân Liên xô khá ổn. Sau đó lại có dịp sang Nga học tập năm 2004 thì giá cả luôn rất rẻ cuộc sống dễ chịu. Ngày nay tháng 9-2023 tuy có chiến tranh với Ukraina nhưng giá cả ở Moskva vẫn rẻ hơn ở các nước châu Âu còn lại, nhất là các nước trong khối EU. Nên cuộc sống của người Nga là rất rễ chịu. Tôi yêu nước Nga vĩ đại!

I just spent 2 weeks in Russia. Moscow and St Petersburg. I went by car so could stock up on cheap food as I went home. Mostly from Lenta and Auchan. For somebody from the EU the prices are crazy. Organic eggs for example are about 60% less than here in Scandinavia. And the taste is excellent. The selection of vegetables is huge and most of it is domestic produce.

in Russia the situation is the same, maybe worse. you have to think about the ruble exchange rate. $1 is 100 rubles… the lady in the video is converting the prices to a dollar. So if she says the price of the product in $, it sounds very cheap to us but to Russians it's not... last year at this time $1 was 60 rubles, if you were to calculate the prices in the video at this rate, the prices would seem much more expensive. btw Russian average salary is about $850 per month…

The prices have risen 5-10% on basic food, that's a bummer but not fatal whatsoever, the exports are a bit more tricky, those can cost up to 30-50% more, depends where Russia buy them (usually Kazakhstan) What you really need to look at is PPP - Purchasing Power Parity, which is pretty high in Russia, considering low power cost and food prices being under control. Problem in EU right now is the cost of producing, delivering and shelfing the products.

Groceries in Russia are cheaper than in Serbia by approximatelly 30%. I'm from Serbia and right now I'm in Moscow: I was able to find a regular size Milka chocolate for $0.7 in a supermarket; metro ride costs just $0.5, bus $0.25, and gasoline of 95 octans $0.6 per liter. Sanctions aren’t doing crap to people in Russia. Meanwhile prices are rising everywhere in the United States. Russia is very strong in tangible commodities and have a stabile currency. They have come a long way economically from the 1990s after the collapse of the Soviet Union. While the west is considered wealthy comparatively we are on a down trend which will probably continue with the trillions of dollars in debt and the amount of inflation we are facing. The Standard of living has definitely dropped in the United States after 2019 with things like the pandemic lockdowns and the fairly recent bank bailouts which is being hidden from the public (significantly worse than the bailouts of 2008-2009 which was such a big deal back then and was actually reported on).

Она по торговому центру ходила, там цены дороже))) аренда и т.п. всё закладывается в цену продукта. Есть разные магазины и продукты - разного уровня. Ну, например, макароны очень дешёвые можно купить рублей по 20 - упаковка, да курятины - обрезь или потроха (вообще копейки), лук репчатый - сетку. Капусты качан. На две недели хватит))))) Или крупы (рис, гречка) + фарш. Т.е. не деликатесы, пища простая, но сытная.

Да, это для европейца с доходом 1500 евро/месяц!(150000 руб) а для пенсионера в Москве с средней пенсией в 24.000 руб(240 евро) или средним служащим в 45000-50.000 руб(450-500 евро) с платой за услуги жилья в среднем 7000-8000(70-80 евро) и дорогими лекарствами качественной одеждой(кроссовки NB среднем 12000 руб-120 евро) или зимними ботинками в цене 7000-10000(70-100 евро!) это просто существование на уровне гарантированной нищеты! ОНА ПОКАЗЫВАЕТ КРАСИВЫЕ КАРТИНКИ! качество продуктов в этом магазине ниже уровня среднего, она про это умалчивает!

Imo food is still way more expensive in Moscow than where my relatives live in southern Russia (Krasnodar and north Caucasus region) food in Russia is very cheap because it's mostly locally produced

Actually it's not restricted to sell food with GMO in Russia because there is no convincing scientific proof that they are harmfull. But if a product contains GMOs, then this must be indicated on the label.

@pabloe 5941 you will definitely need to know Russian if you don’t reside in the major cities. Though if you land in Moscow or Saint knowing basic english will be okay. But living 3 months you will pick the language. The natives will encourage you. In another note, you will find a lot of Italians, Spaniards in the main cities. Good luck 🤞

I remember I saw a video of Putin in a meeting with some government officials and he was hammering one of the officials to invest more money into the far East. Vladivostok could be just as awesome as Moscow and it’s close to America, China, Korea and Japan. If the Arctic Passage ever warms up it will definitely have a monetary impact in the region.

I live in Houston and I can tell you right away our food prices are triple or quadruple the prices in Moscow. And no, we’re not making lots of money. Most people here are stretching our little paycheck to make ends meet. Many that I know of are forced to cut down on our meals so that our kids could have a decent breakfast before they go to school. And according to all the media in here, Russia is on the brink of collapse financially and soon Russians may have to return to the post 1917 when “cannibalism was rampant” 😂
