This tiny apartment has potential with the right furniture. First of all get rid of the bed and a couch. And have a pull out sofa . So you can sit and watch tv during the day and at night transform it into a bed. Maybe you could even have a small coffee table. Second get rid off that round kitchen table. They sell tables that are attached to a wall on one side and has two foldable legs on the other side. When not in use you can fold the table so it hangs on the wall. Giving you more space. Bathroom is perfect.

Apparently, no one in Russia has heard of a Murphy bed. There are other ways to hide a bed so that it doesn't take up 80% of the available floor space.

@сырпошехонскийСағат бұрын
@chiefenumclaw7960 because it's unliveable concrete box which is on sale for like 10x local median yearly wage. Imagine this - in the largest country of the world, they build a bunch of 30-story buildings clustered together so tight that lower levels will never see the sun, then cut it to the tiniest pieces possible and try to sell them as a prime-class real estate. That's what happens when residential real estate becomes a financial asset to rent and speculate instead of being the place to live, and there's not enough potential buyers for normal-sized apartments.

That's an interesting business class residential complex in a good location, close to the river and the business district of Moscow City. Unfortunately, after this video, the viewer will get the wrong impression about the complex itself, most of the apartments are quite ordinary 3-4-5 room apartments. I think it's a good thing they're ripping down the old and replacing with new. Not to disrespect historical buildings, as some people love the old 'USSR' designed buildings and 'prison' like paint schemes lol, but majority of those old buildings seem like they're so poorly maintained, they look so cold and unwelcoming, so I'm all for the new. Majority of these one room apartments (with the recent apartment walkthroughs you've done), I try and picture myself living in them and as an older single male Aussie, not sure if I could. Having said that though, and although slightly bigger in Australia, many new 1 bed apartments are not much bigger as our population increases the design of apartments is to squeeze as many people in as comfortable as possible, whether that be 1 or 2 bed apartments.

Unbelievably expensive for such a small space in Moscow. It doesn't fit for a long term rent. Too small. It would fit to be a hotel room. 23m³ - a bed and a couch (instead of a table), and THREE chairs. What for? 🤷🏼♂️ That full size fridge in the room for one person, in center of Moscow. It is never going to be stuffed really. But takes extra space. That small circle coffee table. I don't get it 🤷🏼♂️ Why not a normal rectangular table? The average salary in Russia is 50,000 rubles. and the cost of living per month is from 40,000 rubles, savings are 10,000 rubles per month. For an apartment of 35,000,000 rubles, you will need 35,000,000 / 10,000 = 3,500 months or 3,500 / 12 ≈ 292 years. and this is even without a 25% interest rate on a mortgage (and now it is exactly that, yes, 25% and higher per year). Welcome to the way the world works. The person who owns that five-Story building can get a whole lot more money putting up a 28-story building or selling it to someone who will. The problem is the cost or rent of apartment in the 28 story building is going to be considerably more than the 5 story building. Moscow has a housing shortage, As the more opulent apartment buildings are built, people are being priced out of the market. ( This is happening where I live in the US. ) I could afford it because of the dollar/ruble exchange rate, but if you're local, wouldn't it be considered pricey? I do like the idea of a dog wash and the hardware store. That is a very nice micro apartment. Thank you for the tour. A question for you. This might be answered in an earlier video, if it is, could someone point me to it? Hot water. In multiple videos you said that the hot water heater in the apartment is used as a backup. So where does the hot water come from, and why would it be unavailable for a month or more during the summer. Does the apartment complex or the city provide it?

I hope many people embrace the opportunity of crypto investment. People rather prefer to work as slaves because they fail to think big. Crypto is the future

You should stand in the shower to give everyone an idea of the size/space inside the shower. It helps, trust me.

I was going to comment that while it is sad to see older buildings razed for nostalgic reasons, it seems that the government is trying to avoid the shortage of affordable housing that’s happening in the western world by putting up these huge high rises. But now that the issue has been brought up that some of these buildings are not permanent housing but rather short term rentals, maybe that is not the case.

The flat owners from the old buildings being demolished there are indeed provided with new property in other high rise complexes constructed nearby, but not in the one Russell is showing.

Show a luxury Russian apartment. Enough of this low budget stuff.

The view over to Moscow City was very neat. Also, the river was literally at the end of the street.

🇨🇦 Canada 🕊️✍️ Greetings Russell❗😊 How 🥇 excellent you are at your work of helping us, yes, even in our decision making as to where we could live in 🇷🇺 Russia! Truly, it is so 😌 comforting as we trust you ☺️ I am in 😍 AWE everytime you show us ANY apartments, we can then profitably compare them to suit our needs. 🇷🇺 Russia sure is wonderfully advancing! 👏 Bravo 👑 Mr. Putin! ~ All new apartments are desirable for renting of course, even this tiny one. This is good for a single man who is out at university or work and comes home to sleep {only}. I understand that it is new and modern ... loved the shower as bathtubs take up much space ... all is fresh and pristine but frankly i find it too suffocating {for myself} and for $ paying so much for such limited space. ~ You did ask us to compare to where we live in the world. Well, I've got way bigger {🇨🇦 Qc} here, modern, for half the $ price with all utilities included, plus patio door as breathing space as i'm on the ground floor {literally}. But since i still would love to move to 🇷🇺 Russia because of the 📖 spiritual and moral values, i MUCH appreciate you and all your efforts in helping us, hopefully making this transition 🛐 😑🙏 🕊️ Father willing 😑

Thanks for the comments. I think for apartments, its about the location here in Moscow. Where you are compared to public transport. How you feel in the area, and what's near by. As for the size, you can get places way bigger for less. Even in my town 50km from the center. But it's down to where you feel the comfiest.

Your mocking of this Aussie guy is brilliant! Russia's 'spiritual and moral values'. More, please!
@moniquest-jean38718 сағат бұрын
@trafytal 🫢 Are you kidding?! I'm 😑 sorry i am not understanding your sentence here. Everything i meant was 🕊 sincere towards Russell as i appreciate him and all his efforts. My personal reasons for desiring to move to 🇷🇺 Russia still stands. 🇷🇺 Mr. Putin welcomes us who share the same 📖 spiritual and moral values as 🇷🇺 Russia > what does that have to do with/about mocking Aussie Russell?! ~ With better clarification, you may need to apologize to Russell 😶 There is definitely a shock element here.
@trafytal8 сағат бұрын
That's a shame. I thought you were laughing at the way 'moral values' allows a country to invade another with huge destructive force.
