Russian 'Z tank fires at a civilian cyclist' in Bucha, Ukraine

SHOCKING drone footage appears to show the moment a Russian 'Z tank' fires at a civilian cyclist in Bucha, Ukraine.
Visuals supplied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine show a cyclist making their way up a road before taking a left turn where a group of Russian troops and vehicles were positioned.
The following moments appear to show a tank firing multiple times in the direction of the cyclist. The civilian could not be seen clearly as they had made their way behind a row of houses.
According to the Ukrainian military, the civilian cyclist was killed in this incident.
Bucha has become a focal point as politicians and world leaders call for Vladimir Putin to be put on trial for war crimes.

The BMP clearly engages some target down the street, but it can hardly be the cyclist. We can see him dismounting and walking slowly with his bike at 0:44 then the camera moves slightly and stays for another 10s, but we can't see the cyclist even entering the sceen. The BMP takes first shot at 1:38, which is only 46s after we saw the clear road crossing. It's pretty obvious, that the cyclist was aware of ongoing fire fight and dismounted the bike to avoid going into the crossing on it, or at all. Audio is cut, possibly to hide the evidence of the ongoing fight.

A sole wound that corresponds to a caliber less than 14,5 mm (allegedly 12,7 mm Utyos machine gun). Because 30 mm equals torn off limbs. And 100 mm equals unrecognizable piece of raw meat.

Not long after that you can see smoke rises from a house near the intersection where the cyclist was at moment ago. That smoke most likely was the result of the armored vehicle firing at the cyclist and some bullets hit the house.

Because when you spend a year or so planning something if you become so sure of success you don't consider what failure would look like. Russia assumed they would have air superiority but the reality was very different. Fly those expensive planes or helicopters and they will be shot down. Generals don't like to go off plan and Russian soldiers have a top down command structure. Individual soliders don't get to make calls on the battlefield. Inflexible armies tend to get hit the hardest.

If they secure and document the evidence then it will be quite clear who's responsible in many cases. Obviously not all cases will be demonstrable, but many cases will be. You talk about starving stray animals but you're mistaken about the time frame of these things. I don't want to get into the specifics but let's just say animals eating corpses doesn't happen as often or as quickly as you think. Many homicide corpses dumped somewhere in the countryside with plenty of animals nearby are found mostly intact even after weeks. Various insects are attracted to a corpse during different stages of decomposition, this helps forensics experts determine minimum time since death. Again, if these physical facts are recorded then it doesn't matter who records them. The Hague's international court is quite rigorous. They only rule on matters of international humanitarian law. Things like genocide or not abiding by the Geneva convention. If there is no evidence, they will not convict. A good example is Milosevic's trial. 295 witnesses took the stand and over 5,000 exhibits were held to present the court with evidence. It's not the same as us watching this video and trying to decide for ourselves whether it's true or not. As for why people aren't covered, well, there could be many reasons. A lot of people in the Kiev area fled West (or to Kiev) when the invasion began. Those who stayed behind are the stubborn ("I'm not leaving my home.", whilst sending their families to safety) or those who don't have any family. When people with hands tied behind their back are shot, will you go out to retrieve their bodies? I would stay inside until the Russians leave. But again, we don't know what is happening in Ukraine. Only the people who experienced these things know. So all we have is stories. But when a 16 year old kid with his legs blown off says a bomb hit their house and he saw his mother burn to death...then I'm inclined to believe him.

If Russia had not funded and armed insurgents in Donbas, how else will they get the weapons for their rebellion? None of the people died in the Donbas conflict 2014-2022 would have died. And Ukraine proved it with Crimea. They did not acknowledge the result of the referendum or the annexation, but 2014-2022 they did not attack towards Crimea. Crimea gained its annexation into Russia by non-violent civil action. It was bloodless. In Donbas, if they had the same level of support for independence from Ukraine, why would Russia have done it any different? This is also why they started with "semi-autonomous region within Ukraine", but ended up with full independence declaration by the new leadership of the DPR/LPR (which all have had Russian passports before 2014 and replaced the local leadership as they died off). So we can infer that there was not such level of support for such drastic change. Again, why did the Minsk agreements fail? Because this ceasefire was not about a pillow fight. If both sides want to be the last to get a shot in there's no ceasefire and neither side can claim to have abided by the agreement. The cause of death of all these people is "living in a war zone". Or what? You think missiles are flying around and everyone just catches the bus to work life goes on as normal? This is not a homicide. This is a war. The cause for every war is that one country decides to attack another.

@@user-qu3vp7iz4b oh ya...double check again. There is one armour vehicle with a V. But why only one? The images we saw over the course of the conflict is that the columns of vehicles from Russia are all painted with Z or V. It is almost too easy to identified them. Nevertheless, you are right.

Moreover, the tank was so "lost" that the enemy did not notice that a foreign tank was located a few meters from it. Don't you admit that with such video quality it is impossible to see identification marks on each tank? Or suppose on the other tanks the identification mark could be in a different place?

Is it really Z tanks? Saw a 30 min interview with a Russian spokesman yesterday snd he was confronted with EXACTLY this shooting. He asked: „Where is the proof this Tank was Russian?“ (No Z symbol visible) So he was shown a „zoomed in“ version of the Tank, clearly showing the Z symbol BUT.... not the blue garage next behind it on the left.... The position was different and the Zoomed version was a different tank... So awful what‘s going on? But who shoots? What to believe, what not?
