When Leonid Pliats and his boss were shot in the back by Russian soldiers, the killing was captured on CCTV cameras in clear and terrible detail.
The footage, which was obtained by the BBC, is now being investigated by Ukrainian prosecutors as a suspected war crime.
"My dad was not a military man... he was a pensioner," Leonid's daughter said.

I been 3 days ago in chernihiv as a dutch man who married my wife who is from chernihiv. I dindt take it very serious and dindt know what to excpect comeing to Ukraine. But after seeing what happend to my family there i was kinda traumatized. The whole neigbourhood was hit by bombs. And when the explosions from the rockets hit the shattering pieces of glas, stone, metal are more dangerous then bullets. Alot of people got hit or were very lucky all their houses and cars are completly damaged. Some friends losts fathers who went to war. When you are in the border parts in Ukraine now its impossible to enjoy your "vacation" with out feeling guilty about it. Also its uncomfortable when the air/sirenens alarm go off.
