It has fascinated me since the first attacks by Ukraine on Russian soil... That they don't seem to realise what crybabies they sound whining about them when they started the war and turned Mariupol into a pile of rubble with thousands now having the rubble of their city their only unmarked grave... I will never get those images from Mariupol out of my head... And the Russians become outraged at any little pinprick of a missile or drone hitting their territory?? The typical behaviour of 10 year old schoolyard bullies.. The Regime in Moscow is ruining their own population's lives... Just push them another year of war if the incredible Ukrainians could and would do it - and their allies really supply them and back them... The Russian economy won't support another year of this financial cost of the war.. The Ukrainians must get a better place to deal from than where they are.. they have paid to high a price in saving their country... We can only hope that Trump.. somewhere beneath his ego actually has some moral backbone... and will be on the right side of history... He would be respected if so... We just have to wait and hope...

Words from a country that has always been historically neutral on the international stage. We also know European history. And we know that the last 2 world wars started in Europe. My wife and I have been following your reports since Day 1 - 1001 days ago. Now that our TV stations and newspapers here in the UK are, it seems, only interested in UK politics, it's hard to find decent coverage about what is happening in Ukraine, so until they get real and start to pay attention to what is happening over on the far side of Europe, we'll keep tuning in day after day to your channel. Here's hoping the latest fundraiser is at least as successful as the previous two. We've just kicked in a few £ to help it - and the heroes of Ukraine - along. Keep up the good work, Jake

If Moscow is saying this is the first time ATACMS have been used on Russian territory, then this is tantamount to saying Crimea, the Donbas and other territories of Ukraine, annexed by Russia and incorporated into Russia, are not Russian, since they have been used there in the past.
@matthewmaurysmith248629 күн бұрын
It would definitely be a tacit admission. They obviously just wanted to invade Ukraine to annex territory, the "denazification" thing means punish Ukraine for siding with the Nazis in WW2 cuz they hated Stalin and Commies.
@michaelsmith742528 күн бұрын
Oh don't throw logic and reason at ruzzia after their "annexation" and vote, (read as sham referendum) of the territories they don't even fully control. 🤣 Those of us who are 'in the know' so to speak and actually read and follow the news know that red lines have been crossed so many time it looks like the red shift of the universe. I wanted to pity the russian people. Then I researched their resistance to this war, apart from a few with blank pieces of paper, the rest can go fk themselves. Crocodile tears after 3 years are just that. Oh poor me, my butter and potatoes are so expensive and my mortgage rate is at 28 %. Screw you.

Not that I had any problems with Brits before but seeing just how pro-Ukraine you guys are, has made me look at the UK in a more positive light than before. So thank you. The UK is amazing and I hope you guys can rejoin the EU and will prosper ❤️

@@moffig1 Thanks Moffig! Massive respect to Germany for all the aid given to Ukraine. There were plenty of us who never lost faith in the European project and we remain supporters even from outside. I wish we could rejoin the EU but we need to get the whole Brexit nonsense out of our system first. Getting some of our most stubborn demographics to realise what a dumb idea it was will take time. We might be back in the single market before long, but I see no hope of rejoining the Union before the 2030s. Just make sure there's still an EU for us to join when we get there!

@Chetifs109529 күн бұрын
Johnny.. it is ALWAYS the madness of ONE person who makes millions die, whether it was Julius Caesar, Napoleon, Hitler, Saddam Hussein. When the last three died, there was no one to replace them. Stalin and Mao died in their beds. Alas, it is virtually impossible, strange to say, to get rid of a dictator internally without any foreign intervention. Putin's here for ever. Live with it. @rogerk6180 I take your point, but it is already clear that the most one, the Budapest accord of 1994 whereby Russia, Britain And USA, jointly and severally, promised to respect and protect Ukraine in return for her giving up nuclear weapons, and that's even before the fact that Russia is a signatory to the United Nations protocols on the inevitability of sovereign borders. The Baltic nations need no more excuses for doing so.

We have seen before that the Russian military decision making apparatus is slow as molasses. Yes, it would be ideal if Ukraine was given permission in secret 2-3 weeks before the first strike, so they could prepare a big "announcement message" for Vladboi to consider, but alas, this will work too. And with any luck it causes panic reactions that opens up new doors. Getting an ammo dump is nice. Getting an ammo dump and 40 trucks being loaded is nicer, tough.

Cutting cables is so petty. It is an annoyance, but the cables themselves are very much fixable. They just hoist the damaged sections up to a repair vessel, cut the faulty parts off, splice in a new cable section and lower it back to the seabed. The cables are most likely insured as well, so costs are manageable. But still... so petty behavior from Russia.
