I used this product today because I couldn't find the Loctite naval jelly rust dissolver and I was not impressed, before watching this video I thought it was just me, thanks for the video

Naval jelly is the only way to go. After watching this video I definitely won't be buying the rustoleum that's for sure.

U gotta bag it and leave it over night with da jelly on it the bag prevents the jelly from drying off , at least 24 hours i left my old vice in da bag for 36 hours

Wish I had seen this video before buying it to use on an antique bathtub. At least it was cheap price and with several coats, I was able to get the rust removed .

This product worked for your tub? Was it cast iron with porcelain interior?

I cut a milk jug, filled with water. And I forgot to clean off the water. Now I have spot rusts on my ricasso on my Scandanavian greatsword. Then me, my brother and nephew. We went to home depot, and I used this on the tust spots on my sword ricasso. Worked!

An extremely rusted metal apply a heavy coat then wrap with Saran Wrap and come back the following day you will see that most if not all of the rust is gone

It literally says add water to the surface of the metal and then apply a heavy coat and cover.

You actually have to use a lot. This product works real good. You just need to put a very thick coat.

EPSTomcat11 to be honest I’ve never tried it. I have used Liquid Wrench which is in a similar category. For minor rust maybe, but not sure on heavy rust

I'm returning my PB blaster. The fumes are so toxic, you know it's killing you. No rust removal operation is worth it.

Excellent post, Andy. I was thinking about using it on my white Dodge church van that has rust along the top edge and gutter. I see more white vans with peeling paint: GM and Dodge. Ford, not so much. Not quite sure how white paint peels on vans and not cars. Although I've seen a couple of white Buicks that clearly have seen better days. :^) Not having enough money for even Maaco, I'll just steel wool the rust blotches and spray paint over them to keep the rust from going through the metal. Happy Autumn and up coming holidays, bro. Thanks again for the post.

Gary McAleer glad it helped. If you’re going to paint it yourself, it’s easy. You can also clear coat for about $10 a can With hardener

I use this product the first time I left it on for 20 minutes. It took some of the rust off but almost done I put it on again for 30 minutes. It still left a lot of rust on the locks. In my opinion this Rust-Oleum jelly is worthless

Can you repost video of wire brush brushing on the metal ? I like the way it sounds ..maybe just do a video of wire brush sounds .....I really like the way it sounds

NOT impressed . I bought the spray bottle and went nuts cleaning and applying liberally . Did virtually nothing on my back rotors. I mean almost nothing even having left a second coat over night.

Leave it on for 4-5 hours. It needs time to work.

Also, use sand paper again after 4-5 hours.

I'm just wanted to throw it out there but Apple cider vinegar works better than anything else. And it's environmental safe.
