Beautiful laptop with insane specs, just disappointed that they'd revert back to side ports. Back ports work so well. Also I'm sold on Atomic Heart, thank you. Fallout, Bioshock, Funny and Annoying, that's right up my alley lol

Honestly man I tried like 20 different servers and the results seems pretty much the same, high 70's low 80's in high density monuments like outpost/bandit. 120 to 140fps when out roaming no matter how many buildings or bases. Didn't want to drag out the video to drive home the same point ya know?

At 6:00 you talk about how the laptop isn't breaking a sweat but only getting 70fps, actually its because while cpu is 18-20% and gpu is 50%, so not maxed, but that is because most of the cpu cores are idle but the ones doing rust are being maxed. Rust is CPU limited when you have a decent enough GPU.

@@MisterFlak Fire up resource monitor, on the right side will be screens of CPU, scroll up/down and think you'll find only 2 of them are full of green 100% cpu itil (or maybe 2-3 more depending on if your screen capturing program uses cpu to encode or whatever). Its why the best rust performance comes from CPUs with higher per-core performance, because rust is bottlenecked to the main execution thread (or something like that, I'll edit this with more details when I ask my gamer designer friend). EDIT: yeah i had it right, he said:" outside of that unity has 2 threads, the main thread and the render thread, which is pretty standered in games engines now days"

The low fps is absolutely the machine. I have 3 PCs and a laptop and none of them get high usage but they all have very different fps in rust. My best rust pc is an amd 5800x3d and 3090 which are both last gen and its getting 170 fps in output and most places. I am part of a 25 man zerg and in our massive base with a crap ton of windmills I get 110 fps. The leader of the group has The current Gen. Of the same parts basically, and he gets 20 FPS more. The point of this is not to brag at all but to inform ppl that a last gen pc will always beat a current gen laptop of similar tier in rust especially on the higher end models. Nothing will beat the verizon x three d chipsNothing will beat the ryzen x3D CPUs according to documentation rust themselves posted

I run Rust with full max out graphics on my MacMini M1 with no issues and it only cost a third of that PC... when will triple A studios realise that Mac have changed and are cheaper and better $ per $?
