RAPTOR LINING A SNAPON TOOL CART TOP

Today we get a guest appearance from the Master Apprentice. We are going to Raptor line the top of his gorgeous Snap-on tool cart! Now whether this holds up as well as or better than the Snap-on bedliner tops....I guess we'll find out over time, but this is how to put it on!

I did that to a craftsman box that had some rusty scratches on the top. Sanded it down and hit it with some 2 in 1 primer spray paint and duplicolor bed liner I found. It’s a much lower quality product but turned out surprisingly well

I'm a snap-on dealer and ive taken in some beat up trade-ins that could use this type of love. I should try given some life back to a old flip top roll cart one day before I try reselling it.

I'm a bed liner. I think that looks awesome for spray can stuff no gonna knock that. But my big pet peeves were touching it after wiping it clean and using brake clean/alcohol. I use acetone as it is in my opinion alot better at getting all finger grease and all that off. But otherwise looks awesome!

@@RustbeltMechanic haha no worries I'm just going off preference. And I forgot to add i have never used this stuff but is it possible to do a smooth base coat and do texture over to. This will add alot more durability to the product!

Nice box. Those LEDs last 1.5 years if left on continuously, but if you turn them off every day, the switch that turns them on fails much quicker. Mine just failed on my epic. Terrible design on Snap's part. The pain to remove the top if you have the top hutches.

Just bought a old used box and the paint is no longer available the bike drawer has big flakes of paint missing and some surface rust. i was just thinking about doing this around the bottom. And i just made my decision. Lol
