First, I love your pantsuit - perfect! I laughed when you said the Cresta was your favourite. I selected it the instant your camera caught sight of it, and then you said it was your favourite. But there were many, many, MANY wonderful cars there. What a great (and sunny) event!!

Well that proves Rustival 1 wasnt a one-off success! Thank you all for such a fabulous show. The really great thing about Rustival (apart from the friendly atmosphere) is that you come with your own area of interest and find yourself looking at completely different vehicles. Its a real eye opener. I agree, Vanden Plas or Mayfair it makes no difference its all good. If you had a 3rd area you would fill too. Here's to Rustival 3!

The show you put yesterday was absolutely fantastic! You all did a wonderful job of organising everything, and it is unfortunate that you don’t get to see everything you wanted to see. Also, this was the first time I had seen you in person. It was great to ‘meet’ you. If you do remember, you invited my wife to join the photo with a ladies at the start of the show. What I really like about meeting you is that you are the same person we see on your videos. On your channel, you are doing what you want to do, being yourself on it. That’s what makes KZbin channels so much better than mainstream TV - they employ presenters to do what they are told to do, often not to be themselves, and to be completely different if and when one meets them. Will also say, well done put putting the video out so promptly after the show - this also takes time! Looking forward to the next one, wherever and whenever it is. See you there!

Timestamp 19:20 . I was so unprepared 🤣🤣🤣. What an awesome show it was, Steph just asked for an interview, clipped a mic on me and off we went 🤣. Absolutely made my day tho, I know my cars different and gets attention (good and bad🤣👌 I know some people are going to be pissed that I've achieved another little win too tbf) but the love Lucille got at Rustival - 28th Sept 2024 - British Motor Museum was next level!! I hardly sat down, everyone wanted to come and see Lucille and speak with me....And then I got an interview for KZbin...for my little Shitbox!!! Just amazes me people think it's worth that much attention as I quite literally piss about with my car... Anyway, I'll shut up now... But look mum I'm on the KZbin!!! 😎😎😎

Straight away my attention was drawn to the three lovely old Skodas here - but I also liked the Marinas a lot - funny that some car designs just seem to age so well! Honorable mention to that Bedford van. The marque was ubiquitous back in the day as commercials, minibuses, ambulances and camper vans - my dad used to work for Dormobile at Folkestone. so I got to rent them cheap off-season a few times for touring holidays. Happy memories of a beautiful red Bedford Calypso camper van that I took around Wales in the mid 80s.😁

Thanks for organising a great show Steph and co. Lovely to see our Mavis the Landy camper here, she was quite an attraction in fact we weren't able to move from her until after lunch so missed quite a lot of the show as usual. So the round up here is good for me. My faves were the Desoto (oh my word what a beauty) the Citroen SM, the Cresta, the standard 12 drop top..... among so many others. Nice of you to book the sunshine too!

Well done Steph on Rustival 2. It looked like a great day but again I could not make it. For me the car of the event would have to be the Clubman Estate, I had one of them in almost the same colour with the 10H engine (that was the 1100) and 10" wheels, it was a brilliant car. A friend of mine was about to start university and nagged me to sell it and I eventually relented and regretted selling it. Many thanks for sharing.

OMG, this is a fun channel! Happened on this video today by accident. It made me so happy, I subscribed to "idriveaclassic". And, I do drive a classic, daily. My driver is a 1973 Chevrolet C20 longbed stepside pick-up truck. These trucks were "commercial" vehicles only for sale to the US government or, licensed contractors. Less than 700 were made and sold in 1973. The original owner was the US Border Patrol and, "Betsy" still wears her original green and white Border Patrol paint scheme. She is a very heavy duty truck. One ton capacity, hardwood bed floor, 350 cu (5.7 liter) High Output V8 with a 4 bbl carb and dual exhaust making about 400hp. And, Betsy needs the 400hp to get up and going... She has a modern Th400-4 automatic with overdrive. In mixed highway-city driving, Betsy makes about 16mpg. Being 51 years old, she has problems I have to chase down regularly but, I do all of my own work so, the repairs are not costly. She has never left me stranded! I would LOVE to bring Betsy to the "Rustival" someday!

I'm all for the Cresta, I have a diecast model in those exact colours. The rat rod Clio is excellent, we have a guy with a Peugeot 108 doing the circuit here in the North East of England as a rat rod and the attention and love it gets is never ending, an amazing little car it is. I was going to come down but my radiator failed on Friday night 😭, luckily as I parked up though so it took nothing else with it.

That Acclaim is superb. Great to see one looking so well. On owners clubs & groups… it’s a shame that so many are limited to Facebook. I don’t use that anymore. The one thing I miss about it is the Honda Accord Owners Group page. They were great for advice & tips. I can’t find them or anyone similar outside of FB. I’m impressed at the enthusiasm & the good manners of everyone you’ve interviewed in this video!

The second Rustaville and an incredible variety of vehicles and the thing about Australia were Toyota's are very common there are delivery drivers and tradesmen still using there 30 year old Toyota commercial vehicles still the Hiluxes and Hiaces because they are engineered and built to last l see them every day

I once replaced the valve rocker arms on a 1.3 petrol Peugeot 305 (Y reg) on the side of the road. Took me about 4 hours.

Hi Steph, A great show, I really enjoyed the day, sadly I didn't get to chat with you, you were obviously very busy all day. I got to chat with Ben and also Elton, everyone is so friendly, and you ordered good weather too. You missed the South car park on your walkround, and true to form for Rustival there was quite a lot of good vehicles there too. For instance on row 4 there was a stunning MGB GT in blue parked right behind me along side a very Rare Mazda 7CWT Pick up. That is what is so great about the show not just cars but commercials too, so please keep it going next year!

Living in Canada, I do go to shows around southern Ontario and sometimes into the N.E. USA. I have family to visit in Sherborne near Dorset. I would do London, but who cares to see some stuffy old museums when I could do one of these shows?

As someone with a 'classic' that is looking a little worse for wear I've always been embarrassed to take it to shows. I don't have the skills or resources to make it look factory fresh. I'm glad there's something that celebrates the normality of time and wear. I'll keep an eye out for the event next year.

All classic car shows that I've been to will happily take the ' not so perfect ' cars. In fact I find original classics in as near original condition as possible far more interesting than the cheque book restoration cars.
