We planted millet on 7/20 using a 20 hp “tractor” the size of a large lawn mower with a 4’ disk and a 4 wheeler spreader. Took about 3 hours to do about 2 acres. Honestly have gotten too much rain since planting it. I think it’s slowed the germination/early growth down, but it should take off now.

Do you use the same fertilizer for millet and rice or is it a different kind for each? Got rice in my low spots and brown top millet on the edges and didn’t know if one type would work for me.

It was a bag of deer corn I brought for weight. Went ahead and gave em a snack while i was there!
