Todays lesson is a great way to start learning lead guitar fills. These lead guitar fills are movable around the fretboard. This is a good starting point to create your own lead and rhythm guitar fills. This is a Intermediate guitar Lesson, but definitely a beginner will get something from this guitar lesson. We will use the G major pentatonic for the structure of these lead guitar fills. Early on I always wanted to improvise guitar all over the fretboard. And this is a great starting place to do that. By the end of this guitar lesson video, you will have more confidence to play up-and-down the guitar fretboard.
Video Content
0:00 Start learning lead guitar fills intro.
0:49 How to start creating lead guitar fills, using the G major pentatonic scale.

1 minute in I stopped the video, looked at the major diagram and got a major breakthrough. An hour later now and I am starting to make progress on a l phrase in major that I have been playing in minor for a couple years. Not really mixing major and minor but its on the horizon finally. Thank you once again for sharing your experience knowledge and passion for those of us trying to make music! At beginer level, most of your content is above my skill and knowledge levels. I am still learning from your lessons. Have a GREAT day and weekend ahead! BEST AND PEACE

Hey Rusty, thanks so much for all your advises. I keep following you, try to help you to continue and today I got a special request. Within my means. Exceptionally, I'd like to ask your advice on a guitar set that's very dear to me (and I'm ok to pay you for your efforts, of course). I'm talking about Mick Green's distinctive playing with Johnny Kid. For example, this track: is This Golden ring » but it could be another song where Mick shows his special art of playing guitar. If you’re interested by this project let me know. Best regards Ristobop from France
