Hey, Y'all!! This meat slicer/food slicer is not only an antique meat slicer, but this is also a piece of art for me, and I consider myself lucky that I had the chance to work on it! The restoration process and video creation took me almost two weeks, but I'm thrilled with the result, and I hope you will enjoy it too! If you want to support my work, you can become a channel member! Your support will be much appreciated, and all your rusty coins will go into my new restoration projects! Cheers!

Well, what kind of silly old chook am I? I’d heard of powder coating but I didn’t know it was actually powder that was puffed on then baked 🫤I don’t know what I thought. Anyway, fantastic job and what a wonderful item is that slicer.
@rustyshadesrestoration2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yeah, I love it, the paint it is more resistant and while coating doesn't smell at all/less toxic and gets dry immediately which is so time saving 😀
@TgWags692 жыл бұрын
The puffed on part is actually more complicated. The paint is charged so when they apply electric to the parts via the suspension wires , it becomes attracted to the part. Like static electricity and a dryer sheet lol.

A nylon washer under those turn screws on the top would help protect the enamel. I could hear that sound which makes your teeth itch when the knob of the screw met the enamel. Is this a show item or are you going to put it to work in your kitchen?
