I was there and he was quite emotional throughout the night . He also cried during Dustland. I love his raw emotion. I FUCKING LOVE HIM.

I don't see how you could sing that song and NOT get emotional! I do every time I hear it, it's one of my favorites as far as lyrics go! Brandon's an amazing songwriter, writes from his heart and soul!

I cried so hard when I saw it being sung live last night in Brisbane , I relate to this song so much and I know it’s for people suffering from depression , anxiety , ptsd and all of that also could relate to an addiction as I’ve gone through that shit too. His wife has ptsd , I have a major depressive disorder and anxiety which I have had now for 12 years .... this song feels like it was written for me exactly .... trying to tell people how I’m feeling and don’t give up on me just yet .. god i love this song ... I’ve been the biggest fan ever of the killers for 14 years exactly now and this one gets me every time

What a gorgeous rendition of the song that keeps me going. Brandon shows so much emotion because this is wife's song. She has complex PTSD and he wrote this for her. Brandon and Tana and their three boys are forever. Brandon's the real deal.

Brandon and the other members have been through a lot over the years and yet they stood by their music. Yes they have experienced a "rut" maybe in their career or personal lives but they didnt give up making their brand of music for us. God bless.

Grace Nora Rut is about Brandon's wife. She had suicidal thoughts. Have the lyric "Dont give up on me" The song isn't about there career has a whole,

I have this too recorded, a bit farther away, but the emotion is so real and it gives me so much more depth each time I hear this song, it makes me want to cry. We all have our own things, and this is my new favorite song, which has always been Fix You by my other favorite band. Love the video, awesome view! Did you have any sweat rain? haha

I am listening to the killers again. :). I write songs, and writing a song about your wife is very personal.
@Alecmonster37 жыл бұрын
Brandon's whole life is in his music. He's written many songs for and about his wife. They have an amazing relationship. He was on his Desired Effect tour when she was having a difficult time - he went to her. I was so glad I was able to see him on that tour. I'm selfish like that. I wish her the best as she is married to the best. If you're not familiar with Be Still (on Battleborn), give it a shot. It's a love song to his kids. I have 2 kids and it's a love song to them too. I play it for them every year on their birthdays (along with Forever Young by Rod Stewart). It's my favorite song of all time.
