This is probably my favorite f1 podcast episode I’ve ever listened to. Somehow Ruth (and you two) have put into words all the things I feel and think, especially as someone trying to get into f1 media and constantly being told I won’t be good enough. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart

Did anyone else witness Ruth's Toto Wolff impression at 52:10 ? Absolutely iconic

Great episode! F1TV really nailed it getting Ruth on their team. I swear I learn something new about the sport every time she speaks.

Ruth was such a brilliant addition to the weekend, great charisma and energy and so good at laying out the strategy, better than the pundits and ex-drivers by far I’d say. Instant favourite! Please come back for every race ever! #nonironicnerdcrush 😅 Will be watching this for sure. 👌🏻💝

There was a funny moment on F1's Weekend Warm-Up where Ruth was talking with her engineer hat on, then you can see Will and James just nodding away in sync, like when the smartest person in the room is talking about something interesting/important and you're not quite sure what to say. Not quite eyes glazing over but the synchronised nodding was hilarious (don't mean that in a disrespectful way, just made me chuckle a bit).

How is it 'very racist' if you don't mind me asking?

It’s fine though because it’s about white men, discrimination doesn’t count when it’s about white men so everyone will attack you for this view. Christian even went as far as to call people mentioning this valid point “not too bright”… massive narcissist.

@@Siilwa Change it to be talking about black men then ask yourself the same question.
@Siilwa6 ай бұрын
@@Liam94Smith I think that the point of the thumbnail (and the discussion in the actual episode) is that if you exclude minorities from your sport, it will be lesser for it. And since white men are not a minority but black people are, I don't think your point is really a fair comparison. I mean, it's quite telling that after 70+ years of the sport there has been literally 1 black driver, and that's just from the driver side of things.

@@Liam94Smith the sport has only ever had whiter skinned men...in the entire history there's only been ONE black man, and even lewis is only half black. sure there's been latinos/hispanics/brazilians but they're still white/tan in skin. is it wrong for wanting there to be more diversity in the sport? people call running a black man sport and there's no uproar so i don't understand your issue. baseball is known as a latino sport due to the amount of puerto rican and dominican players. so how is it unfair to call f1 a white man sport?
