I don't know how on earth you get so much done, almost like a single parent. You never stop. I find you are so full of useful information for almost anyone. You said that your not educated, but yet, you are so full of so much knowledge that many of us wish we had. I cant tell you enough how much I respect you and all that you do. Your kids are polite and well behaved. Your love for your animals is outstanding. Thank you for all you do and letting us into your daily life. I just found you today and I have watched about 8 videos so far. Really loving your channel. Thank you.

#replay, just want to say hi. I just found this channel yesterday. I'm a 60 year old country gal from South Carolina. I was adopted in 1963. My parents were 20 year's older than everyone else's parents. I count that as a blessing. I got to hear stories from my grandma that was born in 1889. Yes she lived to be 106 Àlmost 107. So I really was raised the old way. Now days I do good to just keep my house. God seen fit to allow me to be a walking testament, I've had strokes, bells Paulsy, lupus, lesions on my brain, and intestinal disease, now I'm almost blind. I've been crippled from my back going out twice and having two L-5 S-1 surgeries. But I can walk. God is so good!! I want to thank you for your honest and clean, useful. Positive, uplifting video. You are a blessing to me. Amen.

Those kids will grow up knowing exactly what needs to be done in a household, dishes, washing clothes, feeding animals and pets, tapping and making syrup, what an education they are getting about the important stuff in life on how to raise a family and make it work properly…and to be upstanding citizens later on…good job mom!

Your children and husband are as beautiful and kind hearted as you. The old school way you teach your children is the way I grew up. As parents, it is our heavenly job to teach our children how to thrive and survive as well as learn and constantly teach. A good person, parent or teacher never needs much school room learning. You do so well as all of the above. This definitely is the epitome of pure love of all life and family. I deeply thank you for passing thing this on to the future.

I am happy I found your fine channel! I just turned 70 a couple of days ago. I grew up on a farm, and my parents and grandparents taught us so much as you and Elvin are teaching your kids. We had many chores to do but also enjoyed life together on our farm/ranch/orchard. My grandfather and father dug the basement we lived in for 7 years before my grandpa, father, and uncle built the little house on top. We never had much money, but we were never hungry! We had milkcows, chickens, turkeys, steers, one little bummer lamb that thought it was one of the dogs...barn cats that also lined up for their squirts of fresh milk. We churned butter and canned our fruit...mostly froze our vegetables. We had to move sprinkler pipes and hoe weeds...etc. but what a great childhood we had! I love and miss farm life.

Young lady you are a marvel. If I was 1/50th as organized as you are I would be a happy camper. Our farm as a child was not as productive as yours but in my teens my boyfriend was a dairy farmer - and I never got the knack of squirting milk in the barn cat's mouth - I helped with milking after school so the boyfriend could participate in sports at school. They milked with electric milkers and sold all their milk to a local dairy.

We learned to clean and cook and sew, knit, crochet, and save money which has allowed all of her children to be strong productive people. So good to hear children laugh while working and the little ones getting to sit on your lap for story time is so loving and important that they feel cared for as we did.
