Efflaclar Duo is seriously amazing for adult acne. Hands down one of the most brilliant products on the market, and it doesn't feel like you're applying an acne treatment. I was so happy to see you speak so highly of it because it's been such a miracle worker for me. Love your videos! =)

I am using philosophy purity cram cleanser. That is the best I have ever used. Very mild . Little amount goes long. Does the job very well.its remove all the makeup & leave the skin very soft & hydrated. I have combination to dry / sensitive skin. Much happy about this.

I'm using La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo since 2 years! I'm also a big fan of it and my break outs disappeared in about 2 weeks or something like that! Now I only use it on my chin every second night besides my other skincare faves like Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate (great product with great results) or the La Roche-Posay Effaclar H (bit richer and better for the colder months)... Keep up your good work, Ruth! I like your videos! Greetings from Germany

Love this...rushes out to buy everything! When my painful adult acne flares up, I use Nude cleansing oil to break down makeup, then the Pai cleanser with my Clarisonic (evening only) then finish with the Pai rosehip oil (even on oily breakouts) it tends to heal them overnight so there's just a hint of red in the morning!

Thank you! I recently went to a dermatologist because of my Acne (I'm 27). She gave me Avene gentle gel cleanser (which does not disturb the skin's acidity) and Neostrata gel plus with 15% AHA. This is supposed to prepare my skin 3 weeks ahead of my fruit acid skin peels.

I can't thank you enough for the reviews. Especially the Liquid Gold; it's all kinds of awesome! I too have clear skin and rarely have breakouts so you can imagine my distress when I saw a pimple on my forehead two days ago. I rarely use the LG but last night I used it on my skin and wow! pimple's nearly vanished now and skin feels extra smooth. I don't think I'll use it too often but save it for special treatments and thankfully, it keeps for 24months after opening.

Ruth Green tea taste fantastic if you brew it at the right temperature and if it's good quality green tea. If you brew it at too high a temperature, it will taste bitter which is what I find what people generally don't like about green tea. Tea can be sweet and very pleasant tasting if you do it right, buy whole tea leaves and steep at the right time. It can be tricky to get the right temp and the right steeping time for different green teas however.

Ooooh I wanted to tell that the "effaclar duo" has saved my skin ! I'm french and I tested almost everything in our "french pharmacy". And my three top products are : 1. La roche posay effaclar duo 2. Nuxe rêve de miel lip balm 3. Bioderma "eau micellaire" And it seems that nobody in the youtube community was talking about the effaclar duo ! I used it for one year and all my blemishes disappeared. I had completely clear skin. I stopped using it and after 3 weeks my spots came back !

You are advocating intense cleansing but my dermatologist is so against it. Last time I went to see her then I suddenly became very oily and had crazy breakouts, she prescribed a skincare routine what excluded tap water, but she allowed canned mineral water and high quality bottled water. She also detests clarsonic and is against peelings, scrubs, exfoliation and so on...(her skin looks amazing) Of course then choosing between using tap water and having some foundation on for 3 days the first option is the best one... but my skin improved dramatically since I stopped using tap water and I plan to keep it like this even through showers and hair washes are a real struggle now, I am convinced my body's skin and even my hair would get better if I could stop using tap water on them too but I can't afford it... I really need to move into the mountains and live near a pond or something... strange thing... I would have never suspected the water to have any negative impact on my skin...

Great video, Ruth! I'm going to try that Effaclar Duo out. FYI, for those in the US La Roche Posay has a product also called Effaclar Duo, but it is a spot treatment with Benzoyl Peroxide. I'm guessing that the US market has driven that decision to have that one. We seem to like Benzoyl Peroxide. I completely agree with you on the sugar. I do notice when I have too many sweets or eat crap, my skin looks worse. I need to be even better about cutting more sugar out of my diet.

I have been using La Roche-Posay's Effaclar line cleanser, toner and the duo cream for about a year now, and its still keeping my skin clear. My skin is prone to getting used to products and they stop working effectively and I need to switch, but not with these! Another thing is that my skin does not respond well to large amounts of salicylic acid but just the small amount of it in the Duo Creme really works wonders! unfortunately expensive in Canada :(
