I watch longer videos because I usually watch them when I work out, get ready, or when I wash my make up brushes. Working out is difficult, so having something to watch makes it easier.

I feel like the worst part of decluttering is finding a new home for items😂 i’m very fair and trying to find friends to give items way to is so hard, and then I just end up keeping it even tho I don’t want to😂

You're absolutely right, and I'd love to normalize that. Declutters are SO popular on YT and it's basically a form of entertainment. A dupe for that Chanel shade could be a pale bronzer? I have the same quad and often use that shade as a bronzer, as well as the Butter Bronzer light and Hoola light... they're all really similar!

I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned or not, but melt palettes are magnetic! So you should take the shades you like in Gemini and 27 and put them in a magnetic palette :)

You should be proud of yourself for coming so far and realising there is more to life than “stuff”. I’m on the same journey, it’s not always easy but 2020 changed my life. I work from home now and even in the future I will only be going into the office one day a week. So I no longer needs a wardrobe full of suits (more workplace has also gone casual) I don’t need a ton of high heels or bags. I also don’t wear makeup when working from home (just great skincare and lip balm) so I only need to keep a few basic things makeup wise for my one day in the office and date night or weekend social activities.

As far as YSL lipsticks are concerned there is a lot of product inside the tube even when you think you are done with it! There are videos online that show how to open it from below to release another product, it's like having a new lipstick!

Aw, thanks so much! If you search pampas grass, you'll find dried ones for sale. Fox or foxtail grass as well! But the ones I have are local, called maiden grass, and just have a willow-like slender plume that bends at the top, not a billowy tail-like puffy structure of seeds along the stalk. Last fall I harvested some from a neighbor's yard, let them dry out completely, and bound their stalks at the bottom with a few rubber bands. Much better than paying $65 to ship from Australia in my opinion! xoxo Diana

Tip! If you like some and not all of the shades in the Melt cosmetics eyeshadows in a palette they are magnetic and you can rearrange them and keep the colors you do like.
