This movie has a lot of good lines. I like it most when Barbara (Anita Morris) thought out loud about the strange reaction from the police commissioner after they tried to blackmail him with the video: "He's either a complete moron and complete morons are rare" ... looking at her boyfriend Earl (Bill Pullman), the perfect example of a moron...

I love Bette Midler too Cory. The movie you're talking about with Shelly Long is "Outrageous Fortune". I love that movie. You should review "Scenes from a Mall". It bombed at the theaters but I loved it.😊

Thanks for an entertaining review!!! This is a good movie. I like anything with Devito in it! I agree with the dog scenes being unnecessary. : ( Better Midler still looks fab at almost 80 years old.

I have always liked this movie, with all of the misunderstandings and stupidity of the characters. Ironically Danny DeVito & Bette Midler only have 1 scene together, when she is chocking him out and kicking him off the pier. I have replayed that scene many times 😂
