I feel the same about bras and bra sized swimwear. I was an 11 year old with large b cups and am now an H. I've spent my lifetime feeling bad about myself because clothing never fit correctly. Even blamed myself for the adults who leered too. It's now easier to believe I wasn't broken, the sizing system was broken all along. I'm also in my 40s and feel more comfortable and confident than ever knowing that I can find items that fit beautifully as well as knowing I'm far from alone in having felt that way. The aesthetic of Kim’s makeup line and clothing I feel is so much more classy than Kylie’s. I remember a video of Kylie doing Kim’s makeup and she even made a comment about Kylie’s products being cheap. Kim at least appears to care more about the quality of her products, but still very pricy. Love some of them, but still out of my price range atm😂

what i love a bout skims swim is that they’re making suits with more coverage trendy. i’ve never felt comfortable in a bikini, but cute one pieces are hard to find and every time i wear one, i feel like i don’t look as cool. with skims, i feel like all of those feelings would fly out the window since there’s so many options and they’re all really cute!

Thank you for helping to normalize wearing swimwear with more than “normal” coverage. Not everyone that wears sleeves or shorts does so bc they are self conscious. Some of us just like sleeves or shorts or even pants! I love long sleeve swimsuits. I found you during quarantine and I’ve been a fan since! Thanks for sharing Hope!

I didn't even realise they released swimwear but oh my, for once I am actually impressed by a celebrity swimwear line - actually releasing something that is functional and isn't typically found in stores (more so in the UK anyway), rather than just creating something 'sexy' or 'lounge swimwear'. I hope swimwear like this comes available in the UK at a cheaper price point, I've been looking for swimwear that offers both the cycling short-style and also long-sleeved (ideally together) but unfortunately, it's usually 1 or the other unless you buy a diving suit/wet suit.

Yeah exactly the same, Like I don’t ever spend more than $20 on a swimsuit, But I may go out and buy that last one and that first one, just cause how nice they are and they will probably last me my whole life. I think Kylie is not concerned with building brand reputation she solely is dependent on things selling because of her name, where as Kim has more of a more diligent nature she wants to build something that is long-lasting and perhaps a company that will be there for generations to come. I’m a competitive swimmer and I love how tech suits are becoming a style and made cheaper. Normal tech suits (EXTREMELY tight racing suits) are sold for around 500 dollars for good quality(meaning TIGHT TIGHT, because that’s what reduces drag and makes your times faster) and I see so many girls wearing super uncomfortable tech suits to the beach because they like the coverage, but they’re so uncomfortable. I’m glad that Kim has some more wearable versions for girls who don’t want to feel like a squashed sandwich but still want coverage!!

What I really love is that you're not afraid to "show off" your body and just be you, because I personally am really insecure about my body, but seeing you being confident about yourself and just not letting it get to your head, it helps me to see that its ok to step out of your comfort zone and to wear things that maybe you wouldn't have thought of in the first place. Love Kim's line of swim suits, you can tell she put a lot of thought into the quality of her product where as Kylie it was solely based on look. I love the periwinkle long sleeve one piece although it reminds me of a gymnastics leotard and the skin colored top is cute but not enough coverage in the front I find!

Lands End makes awesome swim clothing with SPF. I have several rash guards and leggings. I wear them normally and also swimming. They give great protection. I wouldn’t be outside in the summer without them!

Fun fact: the first swimsuit that you tried on is actually the kind that competitive swimmers usually wear, they get them two sizes too small so that they're skintight and reduce drag, so I'm actually not sure why Kim called it a cycle suit when its considered one of the most efficient swimsuits for fast paced swimming. (Not sure if this is common knowledge or not lol)

I'm thinking if the front had a bit more coverage it would be like a suit worn for triathlons (Running/Cycling/Swimming). So actually her calling it a cycle/swim suit is technically correct, since the bottom portion is a cycling short length. I feel like it'd be really efficient worn in that context, but maybe to protect arms that are prone to getting sunburned, worn with a long sleeve rashguard with at least SPF 50 over the top half. I said over because sometimes the surfshirt/rashguard hem seam stitches can be kind of annoying over exposed skin.

especially the long sleeves, i need those sleeves, i burn faster than a tent set on fire😂 im also surprised kim gave moderate booty coverage, me personally, i dont like my cheeks out and about, i really wish i could afford swim hy kim😢

Kylie swim from what I’ve gathered is for insta pics or chilling by the pool I feel like with Kim’s swimwear you could actually go swimming and not have to worry about flashing anyone and that’s always appreciated
