DUDE! I'm literally 5secs in and already my jaw is on the FLOOR!..... What is up with those incredible landscape drone shots?! 😲😍 Have you guys changed cameras or something? It seems as though your combined cinematography & editing skills and are just getting better and better 🤩👏 I love that you keep it raw and simple. So many channels are too "busy" now with fade effects and multiple panels, etc. It hurts my head and makes it hard to focus on what is being seen and said. You guys just show incredible landscapes and interesting focal points and you present it in a way that's easy to watch. You've stayed true to your roots and just perfected it instead of resorting to flavour of the month editing gimmicks. I love the steady camera-pans, the view from behind shots and the front-on shots where you speak directly to the camera with slightly blurred backgrounds (which then cut to images to help explain things, etc). It gives the audience a chance to really absorb what you're showing us without it lingering too long. The pacing is perfect. The transitions you're doing from cut to cut (using mirrors, roads, doors, aerial views, slow motion, sped up, etc) is also perfect. Again, just the right amount of each in the right place. It all just feels really natural but in a cinematic/elevated way 🥰Truly this is becoming an art-form for you guys and you are up there with the best. Keep it up ❤P.S- Cool t-shirt Eric! 👌

Well, holy moly. We're a bit at a loss for words here. Thank you so much for this! We found long ago that watching other peoples' videos only stressed us out and made us feel a bit inadequate, so for better or worse, we kind of retreated into our own little filming/editing bubble. We absolutely love what we do and have a lot of fun figuring out shots and researching areas, and we're just so happy that you enjoy all the effort and the style we've created over the year 🙌🙌

Ah, RV camping in the blistering heat, now that takes me back to a peculiar adventure I had years ago. It was the summer of '92, and I, fueled by youthful wanderlust, embarked on a quest with nothing but my trusty RV named 'Bessie' and a desire to conquer the sun. My destination? The very heart of the Death Valley. Most people would balk at the thought, but I was drawn to the challenge like a Mothim to a flame. As Bessie rumbled through the scorched earth, I could feel the sun baking the world outside, but inside my RV, it was a sanctuary of quirky comfort. I filled the space with a bizarre but delightful collection of items: an antique fan from a Parisian market, a snow globe from the Swiss Alps, and a potted cactus named Gerald, who was my steadfast companion. One sweltering afternoon, as the thermometer threatened to burst, I stumbled upon a hidden oasis, complete with a crystal-clear spring surrounded by radiant wildflowers. It was as if Mother Nature herself had crafted this secret paradise. I parked Bessie under the shade of a towering palm, and Gerald the cactus seemed to sigh in relief. And then, the most unexpected thing happened. As I dipped my toes into the cool, refreshing water, a group of wandering musicians arrived, instruments in tow, seeking refuge from the fiery sun. There, in the most inhospitable place on Earth, we threw an impromptu, sun-soaked concert, our lively tunes merging with the gentle rustle of the oasis' palms. In that surreal moment, amidst the sweltering furnace of Death Valley, Bessie's quirky comforts, Gerald's steadfast company, and the joyous notes of a spontaneous desert symphony, I found an unforgettable coolness that the hottest place on Earth couldn't diminish. Ah, life is indeed a grand, unpredictable journey!

My husband convinced me to go with him to Death Valley about 30 years ago, in February. It was so boring. The one exciting thing we did was drive the sub compact car we'd rented in Las Vegas down a trail that was recommended for 4 wheel drives only. I'll never forget jumping out of the car to throw big rocks to the side so they wouldn't hit the underside of the car. Good times.

We went through Death Valley during the summer too. It was the shortest route from Yosemite to Las Vegas. I remember they had pull of spots along the route where you could add water to your car or hose down the radiator. I think the rental company gave us a Pontiac Achieva as our car. It struggled with the first part of our trip. When we got to Las Vegas we swapped the car out for a Toyota Avalon which was more comfortable and handled the heat and terrain much more easily.
