HAHAHA!!! Phil, you are hilarious and you know how to push her buttons. Did she come with a manual or was she trial by error??? How many times have you been in the dog house because you look like you would have been a troubled child, like me! You guys are so much fun to watch.

Recommendation on Chickamauga, go there during the week and do ride a bicycle! It is great because you aren’t always riding on the MAIN road through the battle field. We’ve done the driving tour with the audio tapes as well.

Thanks for the recommendation. Sounds like a great ride.

We just stayed at Battlefield Campground this summer (2020) while visiting my brother and his family in Chattanooga and also going to Maggie Valley NC to visit our family homestead.

We went there a few years back because my military husband is a history buff, me not so much, but it’s amazing how much I have learned over the past 33 years of going to these places with him and if I’m honest, I kinda enjoyed a lot of it! Don’t tell him though 😊

The winery is 5 minutes from the house we love their wine selections and the Battlefield is a great place to ride bikes and spend a weekend. Glad you enjoyed our small town even if it was 3 years ago lol.

New follower here. Been doing a bit of binge-watching. You guys are great 😀 Next time you're in PA try the Gettysburg battlefield. The battle was fought in the town as well, so there are a lot of places to explore. I promise it's not painful. Plus, there's lots of PA Dutch food.

I'm so glad you two showed up on my "recommended" videos! I follow Nomadic Fanatic and a couple of other RV'ers, but I just had to subscribe to you as well. My husband did 26+ years in the Army, now he works for the Post Office. We plan on buying a Class C in a couple of years. We'll start out with just little trips, but then after he retires (again) in a few more years, we plan on doing a lot more travelling to see this country of ours. Since you have a similar background with the Military, we can use you as our "guides". For example, I didn't know that since he is 40% disabled we can get the free "Access" pass to National Parks. I was just going to get the Military Pass. I appreciate you putting out these videos. You are also pretty funny! I need to catch up on all your videos. I'm looking forward to seeing your adventures. Safe journeys.

Guys, you left out one important fact about the Chattanooga and Chickamauga National Military Park. It was the first NMP. It was established by Congress for the purpose of study the military arts and sciences. I think it was established in the 1870s. And was first managed by the War Department. You can make at least a day, and maybe a few if you visit all the sights spread around the area. I know of at least ,6 hiking trails in the park ranging from 5 to 20 miles. Did you get to Point Park on Lookout Mountain? It has the largest replica of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers emblem in the world as its gateway. also the best free views from the mountain. BTW. Go Army, Beat Navy

Good to know Phil has his softer side 😉 And he also showed us his funnier side at the end playing up to the camera 😜 We're the opposite from you guys. Well.. that answers my last question about Chattanooga! Lol... we didnt do the in line yet.. looks like its similar to Pikes Peak? Except newer lol.. we did Rock City at Christmas time .. it was pretty cool but it was at night for the lights, so we couldnt really take in the beauty of the valley or even the waterfall☹️

What was the name of the RV Park you stayed in, and did you like it? We have family just minutes from there but in 33 years of marriage have never done the battlefield tour. Love that area. We got married in LaFayette. Enjoying your videos. My hubby is DAV/Army.
@todayissomeday6 жыл бұрын
We stayed at Battlefield Campground. It was a few miles from the battlefield and under budget. The long term side was a mess with stuff everywhere, we had a hard time getting level and we were all on top of each other. If we go back to that area I will look for another place. Thank you both for your service and sacrifice. Safe travels.
