Thank you so much, I didn't know what we were going to do, going to HF and building one tomorrow.

I built this and I made a modification where I use it sideways. So I don't need a platform to walk to the steps.

Would something like this work for a wheelchair user? I'm brainstorming about how to adapt an RV for me to live in.

This is great! Love to see details on how you attached to the motorcycle lift if you can.

How did you transport it home???

Ron Derrick, it disassembles completely flat and stores in the large luggage compartment in the rear of the RV. Although my wife can now enter the motor home without pain, I still carry it with us just in case. Since then, the Kwikee auto steps quit working. I decided to wait until winter tohave new ones installed. Meantime, I designed and built a temporary solution which I believe will become our permanent solution. Absolutely stable because it has three, not four, supports and can be quickly adjusted to fit the terrain. Also has three instead of two steps, and the top step is always at the same height. If there is any interest, i can post a video.
