I have heard that Jekyll Island is beautiful. It's so rare to see a stretch of beach without hotels and condos. The beach is my happy place. Thanks for sharing!

My friend and I set a general plan and then just go with what ever comes along. We did a 3 month trip, 16 states and 6000 miles. We found a lot of things we didn't have on our plan. Our plan was changed so much that we had to wing it. Loved it and are looking forward to our next one. We have so many things on our list to come back to see. We needed so much more time. Keep up the good videos love watching them

I've went camping in rvs/ campers over the years when I was a preteen through my 20s with my uncles and aunts. Jekyell Island has a lot to do there, although residents do not own their property as it is leased from the Jekyell Island Authority they are proud of the island. Driftwood beach was the film site for many Walking Dead scenes. There is a glass globe hunt during the months of January & February which are hidden throughout the island. The Christmas tree is beautiful when lit, car shows etc… Driftwood bistro has always been a great restaurant. I know some of these things you know and put in the video after I typed. In the past the state campground would host a vintage rv rally, not sure if it still goes on. Happy Trails….Explore as Tomorrow is not promised.

Jekyll Island is one of our favorite places. Driftwood Beach is fabulous and if you don’t mind the walk, check out Sharktooth Beach.

Going from NJ to Fort Wilderness, we stop at that campground for an overnight rest. We extended are stay once and did Jekyll Island once. Saw the same as you two, but we also went through the GA. Sea Turtle Rescue.
