We went to the KOA in Bar Harbor a few weeks after you shot this video in August. Your video footage actually went right by our site. We had a great time there. There were a few toy hauler fifth wheels around the size of yours there. We also did takeout at the traveling lobster on the same trip. Keep up the great work!

We were advised to climb the beehive trail ( only 8/10 of a mile ) with a Rottweiler in tow for a great view of sand beach ,, got almost 3/4 of the way and had to turn back .. Gunther the Rottie doesn’t climb ladders ,, but the view was amazing above sand beach at 3/4 mark

Small world, my father helped construct/electrical “wire” the Penobscot Narrows Bridge & Observatory. Thanks for sharing and I believe it’s a sign to move back to Maine. In addition, went to Young’s over 20 years ago too. Obviously different management at the time! Love downtown Belfast. Great 🍺 and food. Did you make it to the Chocolate Drop Candy Shoppe in Belfast? Best root beer floats and 50s-60s themed setting. Pretty close to the Harbor Walk across from the Dockside Restaurant. Great trip down memory lane. Keep it up, y’all rock!

We did Gorham one year and accidentally got off the trail too. We had been driving in the car for a few hours and needed to stretch our legs a bit. Well, the trail is not easy when you take the wrong fork! I attributed the wrong turn to the fog and drizzle we had at the time. When we got to the top, we couldn't see a thing, no view because of the darn fog. I've always wanted to go back and do it again in sunshine, take the easier way up and catch the view! Hoping to do that when covid 19 is over.

Stayed at the Oceanside KOA Bar Harbor in August 2015 was a great KOA they did not have the food truck, but there was a tent with fresh cooked lobster very enjoyable. Would definitely return one day and stay at the KOA again. Bar Harbor is great and very dog friendly.

Great video. They must be so much work, but you do a great job! Three years ago (in the fall) we stayed at that KOA in Bar Harbor in their camping cabins. It was wonderful. I remember it well walking around the campground and near the water with our dog. KOA’s are a bit pricey but that one is special. I think there is another KOA (Bucksport) in the same general area. Shortly after that trip though from Boston we bought our Travel Trailer. You did well on the rocks Daisy! Congrats on the milestone. Stay well! 🤗

Great Video guys. We have made 5 trips to Acadia. We love Maine. Next time try bubble rock trail, on top you can see out over the ocean. Also Jorden Pond loop trail or Beach cliffs trail, short but a great view of Echo Lake. We have climbed mount Acadia. The Booth Bay area is nice for bike rides. Not that the loop road is not good. Now we just need to get in off the cost of Maine. But 1st I think will go to Belfast.

Try loving Maine in the middle of the winter in a sleet storm! I was born there and we spend 4 months there right in the center of maine every summer. The best way to get perfect lobster-and cheaper-is go order it at a Hannaford grocery store. They will steam it for you. Take it back to your rv and eat outdoors.

We enjoy how you put historic info in a block on your videos. Thank you for that as we love history. You need to get Daisy a pet stroller. A friend of ours has one for her small dog and it works great. He still gets to go but when he gets tired he can ride and it gives them a place to put packages, cameras, etc. It folds up and stores easily and you can get the ones with a screen cover to protect her. Enjoy. KennyandCandy's Travels
