Threat video thanks for sharing. We live on Ft. Myers Beach and get to see Manatee often, especially in Lovers Key State Park. I grew up not far from the Power Plant long before Manatee Park existed! We, the young folks, loved to swim in the warmer waters too so we went to Orange River in an old canoe and would swim with the “Sea Cows” as we called them in those days. They had barnacles all over them and sometimes we would straddle their backs and ride them (of course you can’t do that today). They were friendly and fun but my mom always knew I was playing with the Sea Cows because I would get all scratched up from the barnacles. Oh the good ole days! Thanks for sharing!

Sue said the rental team suggested they go a certain direction to avoid seeing any gators! They did not see any. Apparently if you paddled in the other direction, your odds increased. We DID have a few gators in some of the ponds in the RV Parks we stayed in,.......
