We live about 25 miles east of Des M I Ines, IA on I-80. My hubby and I used to count the RVs being transported as we were driving home. About 3 & 4 years ago it would be nothing to count 15 to 25. The other day I think I counted 4.

We saw a similar thing driving back from Florida. Also, pretty much every RV dealer we passed was still full of inventory.

Great Videos! As per website request, I'm asking for information on a different subject: ALL Electric Refrigerators... Are all new travel trailers/RV's being made with ALL electric refrigerators, now? WE hope not! We have a 2018 20ft Keystone with a propane/electric fridge. We LOVE it! We like to "boon-dock" often, don't have and don't want a generator. The reason I ask, is for our future. Hopefully we'll be able to get parts or a new/replacement propane/electric fridge, when needed. Also, if we decide to purchase a new travel trailer, we'd like options for our fridge. What is the reason for the swing/overload of ALL electric fridges? Thanks for all your research and information! K Nelson

I think the move to 12v compressor fridges stems from manufacturers including more solar and lithium batteries in RVs. I don’t quite see the logic unless you are trying to move away from using propane in the RV. Like you, I much prefer a two-way absorption fridge as it is much better for boondocking.

@@JohnMarucci Thank you so much for the prompt reply! I was hoping it wasn't a new government law that had gone into place! We have a couple small, flexible solar panels, to recharge our battery. We don't want thousands of dollars in solar panels and batteries, just to use our fridge while boondocking!

@@JohnMarucci A question? If you had to purchase a new tow behind RV ? Similar to the one you own . Or your next choice? What do you think is built well for the money? Not talking high high end units . Thirty thirty Two footers ? Would like your opinion! Thanks

Ralph, I would likely go with another Keystone Bullet or Keystone Premier given it comes with the hyperdeck subfloor. I have this in my current unit and this composite floor has performed extremely well even with over 500 nights use. Keystone does not have Azdel in the walls, however, so you have keep this in mind. Many manufacturers have Azdel walls but subpar flooring materials. Not sure there is an easy answer.

It is interesting to see air travel recover as people switch travel from RVing.

@@JohnMarucci We flew this spring for the first time since 2019; only because we had built up so many air miles it was almost free. I wonder how many air travelers were in our situation.

@@rodfosback7562 I'm in the same boat and plan to do some air travel as well. So, I think we are seeing this general trend of people traveling by air again and a bunch of people inoculated from RVing who got in during the pandemic.
