RV Norcold Refrigerator Door Not Latching Repair

Here is a cheap and quick way to fix your Norcold RV refrigerator door when it is not latching and coming open during driving.

Thank so much for your post. We added one washer to lift the door up and loosened the three top mounting screws to change the cant of the door so that it engaged the latch better. Now the gap on the doors are even. We have the 4 door Norcold in our Alliance fifth wheel. We also had to to shim the inside fixed latch with small pieces of cardboard to bring it down.

Thanks..My Norcold Door somehow started dragging on the inside of the fridge and became hard to close. By inserting the washers in the lower post, it raised the door and fixed the problem.

Great vid. Needed it tonight. Is that an M6 or M8 washer you put behind top screw? You werent clear.

The top hinge pin mount is adjustable, loosen the three screws that hold it on and lift on the opposite side.
