You know if I was you it's just me talking. I would pile all my stuff in that RV. Get it mechanically where you can go down the road with it and start heading south before the snow flies. And just do it down south... your doing a great job

Hi Nathan. Just a tip, just drill some holes on the bottom of all your square stele pipes on the inside and in the bottom. This so condensation or and water leak into the pipes will be draining out from the pipes. This to avoid water build up and frost damaging and deforming the pipes. Frost can makes the square pipes round. Ex 6mm holde in bottom of all your pipes will mittigate this. Great videos. Love your videos. Greetings from engineer, and from Norway

Nate you truly are the most talented humble fabricator I’ve ever seen in YT. Any shop would be blessed to have you…there’s nothing you can’t do…Cheers from TX 👍🏽

Flat bed sounds good with 18inche to two foot sides should keep small loads from flying of the flatbed.

And it makes a great back porch to hang out on .

Use two hose clamps to hold the filler neck to the mount.

I love how you pet bits of patches, putting the love into the soul of her.

Mini wall truck style bed > Flatbed.. i would rather have 6-10" wall on the rear so i could carry/tie down everything without worry. like take it to the height of walls to the bottom of the rear door step out onto your own "porch".

From putting on the side panels locks sounds like you need sound deading foam to stop vibrating when driving down the road.

You could drill some divots where the spikey bits contact the doors for better fitment.
@ClassALivingАй бұрын
Hey that's a good idea!
@timmore1Ай бұрын
Use your drill with a small bit and just drill a little dimple where them sharp spikes are so it just catches and holds the washer on and it won't turn

I’m not even 3 minutes in to this video and I’m impressed; I sure hope you are incredibly proud of your accomplishments so far because what you’re turning patches in to is amazing! And , keep this in mind!!! When someday someone asks you what you’d sell it for think long and hard to up with a realistic number to yourself, then double it!!!! Patches clearly is going to be built better than any other RV on the road. I’m sure there be people that will want it even if they haven’t watched or are aware of its transformation.

I would tack weld those lock rings..... otherwise a simple screwdriver in the key-slot will open those doors, right quick in a hurry! At least if they're tack welded it will slow down the thieves.

It holds just fine as it is. If somebody wants to steal my sewer hose that bad they can have it.

OK just a thought but shouldn't those bump stops be on the outside of the frame so they can hit the top of the leaf springs.. That's how my bounder is. Also those lock washers on the little doors aren't seated all the way and may loosen over time.. Might wanna drill some little spots where the locking legs hit so the washers will be seated all the way.. Just a thought.. Looking good..

How about a stake bed?
@Quiet-stormАй бұрын
Why are you creating more work for yourself, you could have just reinforced those welds and throw some sheet metal on top and finish putting the front end on and got out of that situation and find yourself a permanent spot
@sjackson99Ай бұрын
Couldn't you have used a step drill? Harbor Freight has a 3 piece set for $10.
