Do NOT, repeat....DO NOT use silicone to do your sealing. Silicone is a terrible sealant. Go to your local RV dealership and get the proper sealant for the roof. It costs more, but will not start leaking again in a few months.

Marvin is adorable. It doesn’t help me that he looks so like a dog we used to have, also called a Marvin. We had got Marvin from a dog rescue home. He had been a stray and we are convinced the rescue place called him Marvin because he looked so miserable (as in Marvin the paranoid android in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy). Once he had a home with us he really cheered up and he was such a good natured dog.

Once you get the wiring in place, take pictures so that down the road when you feel you need to add some new electrical gadget you know where all the wires are in the walls that you could either tap into or avoid if cutting into the wall. Because all RV'ers eventually add neat little gadgets to their RVs.

Enjoyed that you are back at the RV with comedic effects. Please use Stainless Steel Nylon Nuts fastening to the bolts on the frame. The nylon acts like a locknut that will prevent the nut to come loose in critical areas.

Spray the bottom of the metal flooring with rustoleum or a car undercoating. You could even use some truck bed liner. It will keep the bed from rusting and reduce damage.

When you do the bolt tightening on the frame use lock washers so the bolts won’t work themselves loose as you drive. Using a torque wrench wouldn’t be a bad idea either.

UNDER-SEAL the bare metal on the underside of your floor. A thick layer of rubber under-seal will stop water getting to the underside of your floor, stop it rusting and deaden the road noise.
