Liked the video. However I have watched a lot of these types of videos to change the cable and no one talks about the rubber patch on the outside. I would assume you need to replace them as well. Any info on how? What adhesive would you use?

I have a 2015 FR3 forest river 30ft Class A, which I think has this type of cable system. My issues is note the cables I hope, but it sound like the Gear Box has buzzed threw the Gears. My Question is how do I remove the front Trim to get to the darn thing. Thanks for everyone suggestion in advance.

I did not, the chains did feel like they had that permanent coating of thin grease on them tho
