You can use any type of toilet paper you want. You have to keep the black tank closed and hold down the pedal a few seconds longer to allow more water into the black tank. Empty black tank when ever it gets full. I have been doing this full-time for 7 years now. I have never had a problem!

Thank you for sharing. After many attempts using other methods to no avail, I was finally able to unclog my toilet with the PVV pipe and it worked very quickly. I'll definitely keep a few of these on hand. Especially when my boys are with me.

Well, we use only RV toilet paper and very rarely. Do we put toilet paper in the toilet I have a can next to the toilet for when it’s clear going down the toilet so that’s not the problem for us. It’s just to adults any other ideas… I’d love to hear them.

The hose fitting on your adapter will clear a clog, pre-valve.

Bought used 5th wheel, unseen from N. M. So many issues. I think poop from previous tenents is still in black tank. Used a wand like your's, unclogged my toilet but I think $hit inside is probably like cement now. I have burping too. I put vinegar n baking soda down it to no avail. Heard of Happy Camper. Will that dissolve crap? Thx

Not sure about happy camper, but I've used boiling water to flush my tank before. Just fill it up as high as you can with boiling water and let it sit for a while before draining.

I did try that per someone else's video, but they recommended using a gallon of hot water. Wonder now many gallons it would take to fill up. I'll try it, thank you

I think you'll need at least 8-10 gallons for the water level to get high enough to start dissolving any caked on solids. Before you drain the boiling water I'd use the wand again to try and help break up any chunks and agitate the water.

The issue I'm having is when my black tank gets about half full, I got one big burp of air as I flush. If I empty the tank, I get no burp.

Burping can be caused by a clogged vent as well. If the vent is clogged, there is nowhere else for the air to go.

@DIY_or_DIE I thought about that, but it only happens when the tank is almoat full. Unless... the vent is slightly clogged and that's why it's not doing it all the time. Thanks for the tip. 👍

@@EM-fi2qg I have the exact same issue/symptom when the tank is about 1/2 - 2/3 full. In addition, I start to have odor if I continue to use the toilet without emptying the tank. Did you ever find the root cause or solution for this problem?

Have you tried cleaning/scraping the inside of the tank? Built up/dried toilet paper/crap can cause blockage around the vent

@tolfod I haven't dine anything to solve the issue yet. I have been overloaded at work. But, I have been using the san-t- flush system more aggressively and the 8ssue is minimizing. I don't get the burping air auntie almost full now. Maybe my vent at the tank level really was clogged. DIY-OR-DIE seems to be on to something here.

Borax creates oxygen which is what causes the bacteria to stink lack of oxygen. Adding borax makes peroxide.

Yea if it was on the drain it wouldnt burp smh. And if the toilet clogs just drop a couple black tank tablets down the toilet and wala toilet unclogged. Little easier than your method and alot cleaner than draggin a crap pipe through your camper. Just saying

What do you mean if it was on the drain? Where would the clog be?
