I lived one mile south of the visitor center up until January. About 15 miles south of Lori Wilson Park on A1A you will find Canova Beach Park, it is the only dog friendly beach on the Space Coast. I was born, reborn and raised here. I remember watching the Apollo 11 launch, Skylab, and most of the Space Shuttles.

Sometimes I think we should travel awhile first before we get another dog but other times I can’t imagine not letting our next dog enjoy the adventures with us. You’ve done a good job showing us both sides.

Thanks for sharing you space coast adventure. Our family toured it in the 60s. Looks just as exciting as I remember it. Such grandeur! The kennel was unexpected. Wow!

Went to the space center several years ago and it was an awesome experience. Everyone should go at least once. Lots of history made on that soil. Thanks for sharing.

Great snapshot of the Space Coast! We were at Jetty Park when they closed and asked all RVers to vacate due to the pandemic. We hope you are staying healthy and traveling safe!
