I love your videos it's one of the last ones I will watch because it is about RV life on the road full timing most of the one videos i use to watch tuned into commercials always trying to sale us something or have to have a sponsor, there is way to much commercials in the world already. Thank you for keeping it real.

Hi Darryl. Thank you. We are a veteran family, an immigrant family, and a full time RV family. In three seasons we haven’t promoted products for a reason. What we teach our little girls matter. You won’t see us asking for free meals and if it’s on camera, then we probably bought it at Walmart, Amazon, or Tractor Supply. All the best from all of us here. Pam & Lee.

Helpful tip. I fashioned a hook at the top of the pin box toward the fiver, so that I can coil and hang the cable so that it does not drag when pulling the truck away from the fiver, and it keeps it from falling in the dirt. When hooking back up, it is right there/ handy to uncoil and connect to the truck. I used some stiff 10 gauge (I think) fencing brace wire that I had laying around. It is strong enough to support the cable and fairly easy to shape into a hook. I wrapped some tape around it to prevent chafing of the cable.

We had a vinyl flooring issue also with our camper that was 6 months old. Our dealer said they would fix it finally after 3 complaints to them and the manufacturer. They told us that to do it the right way they would have to remove all the cabinets and pretty much everything in the camper and they said they refuse to do that. so they cut out around everything and then cut the new vinyl floor the same shape and put it in. when we went to finally pick it up it we found that it wasn't glued down...there were places that were so wavy and they put molding down around the edges to hold it in place. I refused to take the camper and called the manufacturer and explained the situation. The manufacturer sent a person out to look at it . We received a call and were told to come pick out a new camper that was the same model. Once the dealer has your money from buying a camper then they cou;d care less about you.
@discoveryboundrv2 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve, we are so glad this worked out in your favor. You are definitely singing our song. The dealership wanted to put a different floor pattern in than the rest of the rig. Different colors, pattern, etc. We said…What? This is a manufacturing issue, talk to Jayco and fix it. Now we are going on 2 years of fighting this and our little girls dodging nails in the floor. Incredible. No words. Thanks for sharing your story and all the best from all of us here. Pam & Lee.

Full time RV'rs here. We're scheduled to take our 2021 Jayco Pinnacle into the factory next month! THANK YOU for the video! I'm nervous, as, I think, we should be. They want our rig for 3 weeks!!!!!
@discoveryboundrv2 жыл бұрын
Oh no! What do they need to fix that requires 3 weeks? A lot of times our dealer wanted us to drop our RV off and then they would try and fit it in the schedule. As full timers, we said Nope. Same day service or maximum 3-4 days. We have to pay for our own lodging so less is more. LOL. If you are taking it to the Jayco factory, then count your blessings. We were always sent back to the dealership. Good luck in your repairs and we wish you all the best. Pam & Le e.

@@discoveryboundrv We have a "Covid Camper," (made during covid). That is what we call it. I believe the "quality assurance" people were NOT working the day our fifth-wheel was put together. First. there was NO hose from the black tank to the back of our blank tank flush, wet bay. That cause a lot of water damage to the under carriage and basement!!!! We had to have ServePro come out and use their big fans for 3 days to try to dry out our undercarriage! Well, now our undercarriage is falling out, currently being held on with duct tape. We will also probably need a new roof, as the adhesive was not really good and its already separating!!!! Lots of other small stuff, etc. CALGON! TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!

Definitely a doozy of a campfire story moving forward.😀 Please keep us posted on your progress.

We just purchased a GoPro 10 to start using on our channel. Hopefully, it will be more convenient than using my phone. I hope the learning curve isn't too steep haha. Eventually, I would like to also add a DSLR camera as well. I did purchase two extra GoPro batteries for a total of four. Maybe that will be enough. Hopefully, you guys can get your warranty issues resolved soon. I can only imagine how inconvenient it must be. We look forward to your next video. Safe travels
@discoveryboundrv2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Brad and Family!! :) A GoPro is essential for many different situations. We want to upgrade our GoPro, but now that it's already an older model we might be using it to do more crazy stuff like mounting on the side of the rig and the classic driving over it. However, most of our videos are shot on our iPhones. The DSLR (Canon R6) is used for stationary shots (Top 10, etc.) , windy environments, and creative angles. Basically, we don't do 4K because we use our phones for everything. One day we will get better at YouTubing. LOL.

Yay, Ocean City Maryland! I love visiting the beach year round! I was pregnant during the more active part of the pandemic and I would get my exercise just walking along the beach with my little family with no one else in sight. The flooring situation is incredibly frustrating! You guys have been so diligent (and patient) about scheduling repairs and working with the service department. I truly hope they do right by you guys although I'm dubious about their ability to lay a floor to the point where it looks like it came from the factory, but if they say they can do it perhaps it's not their first time at the rodeo. It's all going to work out 🤞

@@discoveryboundrv Hey Pam! The show was great! It was A LOT but I'm sure we went through every Fifth Wheel and Class A currently on the market. It was also cool chatting with the Reps from the Manufacturers. We're still pretty in love with the Milestone but the quality on the Primetime Crusaders is hard to ignore, it's pretty amazing! Took your advice and used the kitchen cabinetry as a barometer lol. Everyone is touting solid hardwood kitchen cabinets but ehhh, some are still just janky! Popped into Jayco's line and that's one solid vehicle! I know Grand Design has quite the fan base but *whispers* their kitchen cabinets and trim felt very cheap. Many people commented on the prices, a salesman even told me that the show price at the 2021 Tampa show for the exact model with minimal "update" was $35,000 cheaper...that's a huge difference and a lot of money to justify. We then wrapped up our time at the by checking out Hershey's Chocolate World where we had a #totallyfreealaDisneySprings experience learning about how the brand came to be which included a free ride and sample of chocolate 🍫

Those combo washers and dryers use a ton of water, will take at least twice the time to go through a cycle, when you take the clothes out there still going to fell damp. And there so small your going to have to do far more loads. I had one and hated it! Got a stackable washer and dryer and have been far happier for 10 plus years.
