You talk retirement - it’s overrated - I’m like you - it’s hard to do projects when RV-ing - money will be tight - can’t do both. I did not want to just sit /watch tv/eat and just wait to die. So I went back to work and I’m I happy camper. Kept my truck/rv and bought a BT cruiser. At this point I like working and go on RV trips with either pull RV or drive RV. I guess I wasn’t really ready to go full time or prepared to give up what I like to do - hopefully in 2 yrs - I’m an RN went back to my old job and signed contract for 2 yrs - seems like I never left. I like your long videos - no matter what they are.

Retirement is just another fallacy told to us by our grandparents and parents... it's not their fault. They were giving us the best information that they had at the time. I was told to find a really good company, sign on, do my 20 to 40 years, and then buy a retirement property in Florida and go fishing everyday on my bass boat. Even though I love fishing, I should have realized that all the projects that my grandfather continued to do around his retirement home was him just trying to stay sane.

Just a comment about the neighborhood from someone who lives in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland for the past 70 years. If you perceive a need to move it might be wise to plan for that eventuality. Over 55 community or an upscale neighborhood seem to be the only remedy. In my life I have seen communities recover from blight because the city has high standards and enforces them. Be aware that as long as you are physically and mentally active you may enjoy a long life 80+.

I don't watch long form KZbin videos because I feel if it is the length of a professionally produced TV show I would rather watch that instead. No hate just my personal preference. I popped in today first view in a long time and watched a few minutes.

Of course, this is my opinion, but why don't you guys just keep this house as your base and utilize your huge yard as a place to park your RV while you are home? You see yourself staying in Ohio right? Or is there something about the house itself and the exact neighborhood that you would rather find another place as your base? It is a lovely home or it seems to be at least.

We've discussed it in previous videos we're concerned about the immediate neighbors and their ages and what will happen once the new neighbors come in which will most likely be house flippers that will turn all the units around us into rental
