The beautiful “River of No Return”. That was a good movie too. Tennessee Ernie Fords rendition of the theme music was amazing.

You should come up to Sandpoint. We have trees, mountains, a huge lake, gorgeous country. You won't be that far from us and well worth the scenery. Clark Fork River, Schweitzer Ski Resort, Lake Pend Oreille, largest lake in Idaho!

Wearing a jacket while flying a drone that looks like moderate temps for sleeping. Thanks Russ real nice. Folks probably drive 60-80 miles to shop that market.✌️

Just west of where you are is the Frank Church River of No Return wilderness. If you could take that drone a couple thousand feet up you'd likely see a bit of it ;-)

🙋Hello Russ! I don't believe I would risk trying to climb those mountains. The steep terrain & loose gravel look not so very inviting to me.

@RVerTV Welcome to Challis! Hey that was the forest service office you passed :) The BLM used to be on the left as you came into town but burnt down a couple years ago. Now they are in the old middle school on main st. Thanks for the drive through. I thought you'd like to know that Custer County is the 3rd largest county in Idaho. And I forget the exact amount but I think it is like 96% govt owned between Forest Service, BLM, and state. Next time you go through take a left at the junction with 75 and head upriver to go enjoy Stanley and or Redfish lake.

Suggest heading due east at MT border - Big Hole Valley is beautiful. Also drive Pioneer Mtn Scenic Byway between Polaris and Wisdom and 569 to Anaconda - beautiful country and fewer people. Have lived in MT entire life and was impressed when I drove these areas last year. Enjoy your vids.

Just to warn people - your odds of hitting a deer or bigger on US 93 between Challis and Missoula are 1 in 57. It's also pretty awful night driving,
