There are seven of us living in a nursing home and watch you all the time. You sure have been a blessing to us as we are no longer able get around much. All of the gang pray you have safe journies and know someday JESUS will come to get us for an eternal vacation. We really do miss even going outside now and then. We love you and you be sure to make more movies. Also we get a hoot out of that flying machine you use. Now you take care. Ron and the gang.

In 1886 Prescott Junction, was renamed Seligman, after Jesse Seligman, one of the founders of J. & W. Seligman & Co. of New York, who helped finance the railroad lines in the area. The railroad was given every other section in the territory for bringing in the rail lines. The Deed for my land in Golden Valley were parcels that Mr. Seligman, once owned. Thanks for the good views.

Seligman was a lifesaver ! The guy I was traveling with forgot to fill up his gas tank when we left Henderson, Nevada en route to Prescott AZ. There were no gas stations on the route we were on (his INCORRECT assumption that there would be). He was from AZ; I was out of state. We rode in on fumes to a gas station in Seligman. Whew !! While at the station, I picked up a Seligman Route 66 decal and patch - I keep them on my dashboard as a reminder NEVER to start a trip without the gas tank being AT LEAST HALF FULL !!

I remember all of the sites you visit along Route 66. My family made several trips on 66 and we always stopped at all the sites. As a kid in the mid to late 1950s it was a great adventure. Then my mom and I made several trips on the El Capital train from San Bernardino to Chicago. Loved all the stops in northern AZ and NM. As adult we made family trips from Cali to Texas. Your video bring back sweet memories. Plus I’ve been thru on trips/vacations to 20+ other states. Would love to do it again but I can’t so I enjoy your treks.

I couldn't agree more. I'm an English oldtimer from Shropshire who loves your country, particularly the South West. I first came over in 1972 for business. Kept coming back since, but there were some lovely old towns that have been swamped by commercialism, lost all their character, great pity. You don't miss things till their gone eh ?

Great Video! I had to laugh when you said the road was rough! I am originally from Tucson and Phoenix, but currently live in the Poconos, PA and the roads here are like a war zone with heavy NYC traffic. I miss the wide open country. My brother just bought a house on 40 acres south of Ash Fork. Thanks for the videos, they take me back to a happier place!

Love this area between Kingman & Flagstaff. Been travelling I-40 since the late 1980's. Have yet to see the road in decent shape. It's always been full of bumps, dips, ruts, & potholes. Either they don't know how to do road repair in that part of AZ, or they don't care. Not sure but the road's always been in terrible shape without much love from the highway gods. Any idea why all the dead trees heading toward Grand Cyn out of Williams. Fire??... salt on roads from winter??...or???
