On trips like this, traveling from state to state, it certainly would be nice to have a “national” fishing license, one that would allow you to wet a line anywhere you stop along the way.

Another beautiful streatch of Montana the color variance in the rock along the creek was exceptional. The campsite on prickly pear creek was like a dream. The view downstream was awesome. They even had a wheelchair accessible table so all can enjoy. Thank you it was very enjoyable. 💞

Big Wave Russ....Thank you for the wonderful, colorful, scenic video. What a great State of Montana...When I saw the beautiful place to camp yesterday by the River, yep that is Montana. Isn't it a wonderful State. We got the map out and tried to figure out where you said you were going, as we though it was on hwy 93 and Hwy 84, but we see it is on 278 and something....We love that area. Thank you for the Virtual holiday and Colin and I are enjoying our trip with you thoroughly. Thank you Russ for the share. Big Wave, and keep on trucking as we move forward ......Carolyn and Colin Hogarth BC Canada

🙋♀️ Hello! The sleeping giant reminds me of Grandfather Mountain near by in Boone, N.C.. The statue of the man with the dog was interesting. That log home looked beautiful on that mountain top. Not many residences in Wolf Creek, a little town I'd enjoy visiting. Really has been a nice day Russ.

I go to Sun Canyon for a burger at Gibson Reservoir, out side of Agusta, MT every year! Edge of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Beautiful, dam keeper took my daughter and I to cross the top of dam. Excellent day. Mortermior campground is first place I took my kids camping by ourselves. Dad's not a camping fan, my favorite memories growing up is camping. We went to Glacier National Park every year for Ham radio, ham fest. Fun times!

In the SF Bay Area, there's a view of the hills to the north of Angel Island that is said to look like a woman lying on her back. Supposedly this is an Indian legend, but I'm thinking it's the romantic invention of real estate promoters. It kind of does look like a woman. Has anyone estimated how tall the Sleeping Giant would be if he stood up? 8^) Maybe if he knew there was a woman for him in California! Great work, Russ. Keep it up!

12:15 There appears to be an abandoned section of roadway on the right, possibly due to a realignment of the interstate or perhaps an eliminated exit ramp. Or maybe it is ghost remnant of what is today's Recreation Road?
@BuzzKillingtonism4 жыл бұрын
It is not abandoned. You can access wolf creek and a bunch of homes on that road.
@michaela.chmieloski31964 жыл бұрын
@@BuzzKillingtonism Are you saying people can utilize, from the interstate, that which appears to be an old down-grade roadway running on the other side of the barrier starting at the sign announcing the Little Prickly Pear Creek? That is the section of which I wrote. It appears grassed over and inaccessible from the highway. Perhaps an old exit ramp permitting access to the area you mentioned?
@BuzzKillingtonism4 жыл бұрын
@@michaela.chmieloski3196 I thought you were talking about the exit a few seconds later. That road you referred to is actually an access made in the last 20 yrs for the power company and construction workers. You also see a lot of cutouts in the hillsides that resemble roads but the are for controlling rock slides in the area.
@michaela.chmieloski31964 жыл бұрын
@@BuzzKillingtonism Interesting. It looked so natural coming off the highway I thought it might be an old ramp or abandoned piece of the interstate. Thanks for the information, Nick.
