The Kodac Moment turned into a Kodac Movie Moment. I wonder if any of the youths would understand? No doubt us older folks knew and enjoyed every bit of it. I missed the local parades and was glad to see part of Grant's parade with you. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️

Hey TIUW. LOVE LOVE LOVE your adventures. SUV Camping is my favotite thing. We bought a tent that attatches to the hatch. Still have the bed in the back of the SUV. The tent gives us room for the cat and dog, table chairs. And they can't escape. We gotbthe Napier and it has a room off the tent. Just like home😂😂😂😂

We, the wife and I, were very impressed with the scenic journey to Grants. The monument looked like Mount Rushmore without the human faces and the ice cave was cool...pun intended. We really enjoyed the 4th of July parade and Grants might be a possible place to live whenever the economy straightens out. We loved the whole video. Stay safe on your journey and we will be watching. 😁😁

Hi Russ, thank you for showing your road trips / travels. Through your vlogs me and my husband are able to go to Sedona. I am always afraid of high elevation but since i watched over and over your vlog to Sedona i was able to see how beautiful the place is and not in high elevation at all. We went and enjoyed the trip. We were able to go up the Holy Cross Chapel, see the Bell Rock, etc and walk down the shopping area. Everytime i want to go somewhere i checked your vlogs first 😂. Last place we visit is Zion National Park in Utah..

Hello Russ, Route 191 North in Arizona takes you to "Canyon de Chelly" (pronounced "Canyon de Shay") and "Spider Woman Tower", a site you should explore when you come back later this year. South of Grants starts "El Malpais" (the good for nothing country), worth exploring. Magnificent desert vistas everywhere. Blue sky, tortured rock formations, peace and quiet, what could anyone ask for more ?? The local Parade brought tears to my eyes : great, simple, happy people ... RICHARD

Do you live in that area, Richard? My grandparents, though I did not know them very well, were owners of Garcia Trading Post. I believe there is a Holiday Inn there now.

When you walked el Morro at stop #8, there is a inscription that caught my eye because it was very nicely carved, Gilmor Breckenridge. I looked that name up- P. Gilmer Breckinridge P. (Peachy) Breckinridge was the man in charge of the 25 camels used by Lieutenant Beale in 1857. After his work with Beale, Breckinridge returned to his home state of Virginia and fought in the Civil War. He was killed during a skirmish at Kennon's Landing, Virginia, in 1863.

The mountains in northern New Mexico remind me of what the area around Flagstaff used to look like back when I was a kid. Unspoiled and very few people. As soon as you mentioned the BBQ at the KOA I got hungry. Love BBQ, so I hope you took them up on their offer.
