Blythe is a lovely place. I was out there end 2018. Hit the Shell station for the Krispy Krunchy Chicken. A quiet town with the scenery and river.

......How could there be no permits? It's easy! Worthless State Govt. dregs working in unison with Federal Govt. dregs. Bounce you around like a pinball. I'm a Vet and know the VA. I was out in Blythe/Needles area last year. Lovely. Like southern Maricopa County AZ. before the encroachment of city into farmland. Families vs. Food. Water is the determining factor. Immigrant SEASONAL labor was another issue. The rhythm of life watching the growing of crops is therapeutic. Quiet. I'd love to see many more Colorado River basin videos. I served in Yuma many years ago. 2X, winter and summer. I loved it. I moved from Allentown, Pa. to Phoenix in 85. Only Arizona and Florida since. Your videos are great Sir.

I lived in Blythe till a year and ahalf ago. It is beautiful down there but dangerous now unless your in a group or carrying. Homeless have burned most of the town up now, it's turning into a ghost town that you don't want to be out in after dark. Just be safe and watch your backs!
@ScubaSteveCanada Жыл бұрын
Yeah, Bythe is nothing to write home about. Same with the Midland LTVA; the lack of water is annoying considering your permit pays for it. Nothing to do here except listen to the generators. Better off boondocking in the area rather than pay to stay here. I was here in 2020 just before the pandemic hit.

🙋Hello Russ! That's a good price $180.00 6 months, 2 weeks $40.00. Midland LTVA won't be lonely looking much longer. Probably fill up fast. That was a great way of promoting a business by doing a live talk. If I come there to visit, I definitely would love to visit this game store & buy some new family games. I also loved the kite store you took us to earlier this Spring.

The midland area sits in the Little Maria Mtn Range. It can get windy but fairly quiet during the winter months.

Update for 2023. Best to skip this LTVA. Bythe is not in good shape and nothing to do at the Midland LTVA. Better to stay at the other LTVAs that have water and better facilities. Why pay to stay at Midland when you can boondock in the area for free?
@porkfatcalifornia38903 жыл бұрын

How can you not have permits printed? Answer: It's a government operation run by government employees, most likely unionized. Pray they never get ahold of your healthcare.

But problem is ITS IN California
@DenaliDad3 жыл бұрын
Even though the same LTVA pass is good at all seven LTVAs for the entire 7-month season, it is important to understand there are significant BLM requirements as to rig type. Cars and those that the BLM defines as other than "self-contained" are not allowed here. Look for the special regulations online.
