I see that these already sold out. I would buy one if/when you build more.

I will likely announce a one-time build via community message. so be sure to turn on notify if you wish to automatically receive updates. Otherwise you will have to check the channel periodically.

Love your projects. We are working on a 2000 Monaco Windsor so some projects fit for me and some don't, but I really like your great explanations and video quality.

I have a couple of v1 circuit boards left over. I was wondering if it is possible to use them for the v2 monitor. Would I just need to add the volt meter? Will the programming be possible on the v1 board? BTW my v1 is working very well inside the RV. I would like to put v2 in my storage area underneath. I've looked at both boards and they are quite different. Looks like I've answered my own question. So, is there a way to use a v1 board. I'm not sure where the fuse or the volt meter would attach.

Yes, the circuits of V1 and V2 are identical, other than the addition of the fuse and voltmeter. When I decided to do a refresh, V1 has worked so well that the only changes I needed to make was to reduce the cost by deleting the aluminum front panel and switches. Many people either don't have the mounting space for V1 in their consoles, or don't want to spend the money for the custom panel. And adding the Voltmeter was almost an after-thought. But since it is self-contained, it was a simple add. I added the fuse as my intent was to connect V2 directly to the battery whereas V1 would typically go through an external fuse (distribution panel, etc). Otherwise, the differences in the boards is in a mounting location for the voltmeter and fitting into the case. There are many different sizes of these cases available, so if you use a slightly larger case, you could mount the voltmeter adjacent to the V1 board. Also, I made the reset button on V2 optional. I found I hardly - if ever use the reset button on my V1 board, but you can wire one to the board if desired. You could leave it off as well if you don't want to drill through the case. The voltmeter simply parallels the power supply connection. The pads for this connection on the underside of the board are large enough that you should be able do solder the voltmeter directly to those pads. And the Arduino Sketch is identical to V1. I would recommend adding an external fuseholder to the circuit if you are directly connecting the monitor to the battery. V2 does not make V1 obsolete. It simply provides a lower cost alternative mounting configuration.

@@RVProject Good news! When I built v1 I bought three of everything except for the front panel. I'll be building one of these as soon as I get the volt meter. Thanks for the great mod.
