Baal is a title, and a synonym of the word "Adon" meaning Lord in proto judaic languages. In Babylon it's spelled Bel. There are more than one God with the title Baal in the proto judaic pantheons. El is also a title but but the farther back you go it was a proper name. And the title Ba'al has been applied to him, as with many other deities. The phoenecians called EL Baal. EL/YHVH WAS NEVER BROTHERS TO ANY BA'AL. HE WAS THEIR FATHER. So which Baal are you talking about? Baal Hadad? Baalit? Baal Hammon? Baal Hermon? Dagon? or EL himself? I didn’t need to go far into this video to begin noticing major errors. Ba’al is an honorific, meaning lord, and at times is even used in reference to God, although that fell out of favor (thus names like Jerubaal). Ba’al was in fact used for multiple gods, and the Bible uses the honorific in just that way. The god most commonly referenced as an abomination is Ba’al Shamem, who is Ba’al Haddad, chief deity of the Phoenicians some other Semitic peoples. The other god referenced is Ba’al Zebub, a corruption of Lord of the Home. That said, Phoenician gods were frequently worshipped with child sacrifice, typically in the form of a burnt offering. Both archeology and Roman sources confirm this practice, and so does the Bible in the sacrifice of Isaac, who notably isn’t sacrificed because the God of Israel does not accept such things. (In this light the episode with Isaac begins to make more profound sense, taking into account that Isaac itself means laughter and that God smiles.) That all said, the argument that Christianity is in any sense a reworking of “Ba’al”-whatever that means-is utter illiterate nonsense. There is a subtle interplay between Judaism and her context. But this video utterly misses all of it.

I listened to this presentation objectively, and will state my observations which are also mention by several commentators preceding me. At the beginning of the video it is noteworthy to mention that the speaker is factually correct regarding baalism being reborn in the form of christianity. additionally, the speaker mentions that the religion of christianity mirrors the Lucifarian doctrines. Later the speaker contradicts himself in stating that Lucifer did not exist prior to christianity. He also goes on the say that Satan is not mentioned prior to christianity, also an incorrect statement. This presentation lacks credibility as an accurate source of information although certain portions of the video contain accurate statements, the video as a whole is very misleading. Sources are lacking throughout the video for any of the information that is stated.

Don't be confused by poor research. Cananites did worship an idea called Ba'al. It did have horns like a bull. It was an idol of natural power, fertility and protection.
