I love this song with rwby, I especially loved the hooked of 2:07 to 2:23, the weight of the symbolism and contrast to oz and salem of what they'll do to/for the world, as well open interpretation for the villian(or the wayward in my opinion) for cinder hurting anyone or destroy anything in her path because she can! And for emerald and hazel finally waking from their own ignorance or finally accept the reality of their choices and what they helped(and low-key threatened) to do! A well needed empathy/sympathy for everyone choice's(even for those that are too far to reason with!).

Okay. I’m not using a tissue right now. Not me! This honestly fit Volume 8 brilliantly, and you did an amazing job of using this song! The coloring (as always) was on point to every mood change in the song, and the beat syncing was unexpectedly good, despite the fact this song is a bit slower. Also, congrats on (almost) three years! You’ve made so many great AMV’s that I’ve been watching for more than a year now :D Fantastic job!

Amazing how an AMV makes what's already a devastating experience ten times worse in the feels department 😢 For real, it's stunning how perfectly the lyrics match the compiled scenes from this volume (i.e. "set our grief aside", "our final night alive", "watch TV with", "as the atom bomb locks in", "welcome death with"). You'd almost think Maltese knew what would happen and composed this song specifically for this...
