These were all amazing and I am SO glad to see you call out how abusive Blake slapping Sun’s scene was and I also liked how the artist made it better by having Blake actually be horrified and regretful of what she did. Male victims are just as serious as female victims, both should be treated seriously and both shouldn’t be brushed off. If that was Blake being slapped I guarantee people would have flipped their shit. These double standards of society is sickening.

That last submission was my favourite. I also didn’t know how that scene could’ve been improved until I saw what the submission did with it. Props for taking a scene that already broke my heart and then re-jigging that scene to break it even harder.

Watching these was so good and really gets ( atleast for me) the creative juices flowing. Would love to see another challenge, but i can't think of limitations to put on, except that it can't be a fight scene and or they all have to add something in, like a balloon or fruit or something. Or have to make a meta comment or visual nod, i don't know. Hope the more creative minds can help you come up with some limitations/ rules for the next one.

Absolutely amazing! Everyone was so good! If you’d want to do a part 2 I have some ideas! 1: You could assign everyone the same scene and see how different people format theirs and also participate yourself if you’d want! 2: Not-Quite-Fights! Everyone could choose a not-quite-fight scene and try to make it interesting and satisfying!(without making it a full on fight) 3: Crowd/group scenes. This one would be a bit tricky, but everyone knows RWBY has a lot of characters, the challenge would be how to manage a group of people! 4: Helper scenes! This one would require the creator to make a completely original scene that could slip into the show between scenes without much upset! 5: Talking heads part 2! Anyway these are just some ideas! Would love to see more challenge videos!

Fun bonuses: I tried to make ruby smaller to convey that she feels small. I tried to make yang big to make it look like she's intimidating and taller than ruby. I have yang bend down so she could be in eye level of ruby. I have ruby not look directly at yang at certain points because she is still contemplating what happened and only facing yang when it's clear that she doesn't want to be seen as the bees knees. This was fun I tried to convey a more sibling dynamic and a bit of character dynamics in this scene. Also yang may or may not have popped her sister's back.

I wanted to leave a comment here, specifically about the Blake and sun animatic which imo is incredibly impactful and honestly for me at least uncomfortable and incredibly hard to watch. That remade Scene not only improved from what the other scene was in comparison but also amplified the effect it had. That slap was incredibly unfiltered and unforgiving, and the aftermath of it, with Blake immediately regretting it after and sun becoming more cold in a sense after where he, unlike Blake will actually do something about it than moping 24/7. And she ultimately getting a reality check and following. Not only was it perfect by that but with how when the slap occurred, there was no sound other than the echo, the ringing, and the gunchucks. The sounds and lack there of at certain points not only made it work but made the scene more impactful than it already was. And it’s a genuine shame that the animators and crew for canon rwby for some unknown reason went the direction they went for this. Because it genuinely made Blake unlikable and horrible , and then with the whole thing of having the double standards where Blake slapping sun was played for laughs or not that seriously while Weiss getting slapped was brutal. Here it’s done so well. Hope you read this comment critter
I've always been more of a "Once in a Lifetime" fan myself :)

❤🤍THANK YOU!!🖤💛 😱Senpai (and more) noticed me!😁 As a right-handed artist I prefer drawing characters who are left handed because that means I have an easy frame of reference. I just pose my left hand. When Qrow said "bit of a brat though but hey I like brats", I felt something was missing. Where's the opportunity for Ruby to show she's a brat therefore the dialogue is justified?
