Somewhat could only say "you're back" to someone they had already seen and knew left. Somewhat never saw Neo or the Cat but did see team RWBJ leave through the door and spoke to them before they left. It only makes sense that one of RWBYJ returned. They named Somewhat, they are kind of important in Somewhat's existence.

Its was great to see SOMEWHAT again! ( it's just now hits me that he's wearing a red Cape like just like ruby !😊) its was nice seeing everybody at the everafter AFTER a year ( or two years , I forgot. ) . That ending , MAJOR CLIFFHANGER..!!😆
