Since you showed some interest in the weapons, let me enlighten you a bit. Blake and Adam's weapons are based on Japanese weaponry. In the case of Adam, it's a katana with a shotgun scabbard. His actual fighting style is based around iai strikes, which is a quickdraw method of using the unsheathing movement itself as an attack. No clue yet on his energy absorption technique, but I assume that's all him. I forget the name of the weapon Blake's weapon is based on, but it's essentially a short sickle attached to a ribbon, combined with some form of pistol. In addition, the blade can shift to a shortsword position, and her blade's sheath is also a cleaver, meaning that she can dual wield. Talk about favoring versatility in a fight!

+EditDeath Blake's weapon is based on a ninjato, a straight-bladed shortsword used by Japanese ninja as the name implies (the katana and wakazashi used by samurai had curves blades but the ninjato was straight-bladed). The scabbard of the ninjato was rigid and was often used as a club, which is why Blake didn't even bother unsheathing it until 3:38 when she starts dual-wielding the sword and scabbard. Anyway the sword and also turn into a pistol with a bayonet-type blade attached at the front (you can see it transform at 3:54 ), which she then attached to a ribbon so she can swing it around like a kusari-gama (a sickle on the end of a long chain). In some of the episodes of the series she also uses it in that form as a grappling hook so she can swing along like Batman.

Her weapon is the Gambol Shroud, wherein the sheath for the blade has a blade all it's own, and the sword folds in half to create a chain scythe. Similarly, Adam Taurus (the bull faunus) has Wilt (a short sword) and Blush (a sheath, that's also a shotgun, because that's how RWBY works. EVERYTHING is a gun...)

If I might make a suggestion - even though the trailers make the show look like just a series of fight scenes, it's actually very story and character-driven and season 1 in particular is quite serialized, meaning that even though the episodes were originally released weekly, breaking the story up, it might actually be more beneficial for you to watch and/or react to them in groups of episodes, rather than individually. Based on how the story is broken up, I'd recommend this grouping for season 1: Episodes 1-3 (approx. 25 minutes), Episodes 4 - 8 (approx. 37 minutes), Episodes 9 & 10 (approx. 12 minutes), Episodes 11 - 14 (approx. 24 minutes), Episodes 15 & 16 (approx. 26 minutes) That way you can sort of treat them like regular TV show length episodes and edit accordingly if you wish.

+troublesomebirdsong I really have to disagree, I get that he does edits, but mushing a bunch of episodes together so he has to do lots more edits for time is just wrong... seeing as much of the reaction as possible is the best way.... after all isn't that what reacting is about? seeing people's reactions to things? doing them individually so we/he can can focus on the awesome that is that episode is the answer

+Neonseas Bunch of episodes? sure. But for example some episodes (ex: first and second) are kind of two parters - more like one split in two(length wise too). Its less common in latter volumes but first volume has quite a few like that, because of what I guess are production schedules.

Neonseas Yes, reaction videos *are* for seeing people's reaction to things; not their lack of reaction to things. That's what being able to edit down to highlights is for. You're pretty deluded if you think 'all' of the season 1 episodes are individually 'awesome' - a lot of them are just set up for the next bit, or split the story in half so that you need to watch the next episode straight away anyway. Would you have felt better if I'd just said, 'Hey, you should make a full 25-ish minute long video of eps 1, 2 & 3 together, so that you get the entirety of that story at once, rather than in bits (but don't edit it down at all, so that Neonseas doesn't miss out on any content, interesting or otherwise)'? Because that would also work fine. It's just up to him whether he then feels the need to cut that 25 min video down based on his actual reaction.

+troublesomebirdsong What I meant is that what people think is important from an episode changes from person to person, so doing as little editing as possible is important so the veiwers don't get left feeling that something is missing. That is why on loads of videos on this channel you can find comments like "I really wish you didn't edit out X part" and "I wish we could have seen your reaction to X" Because what is important to you is not the same as what is important to me. It did not occur to me that you were suggesting longer episodes, because he almost never strays over 10-12 minutes. So I'm sorry if that landed wrong... it wasn't my intent :)

So you finally reached the one inspired by *Beauty and The Beast*. Who is who is still up in the air to be honest. I guess its a matter of perception or situation. Why would she do what she did? Well, for one she clearly did not like the idea of blowing up the train with people on board of it. And of course if we think about the concept behind Beauty and the Beast, and the idea of her as Belle and him as Adam, I guess that's not the first thing she did not like. Yes, all the weapons are multi-weapons. Ruby used Scythe that is also a sniper riffle. Adam(aptly named after Disney's version of Beast) has a katana that is also a shotgun, Blake is using a sword that can split into two swords or a whip-gun. Weiss only had a rapier, but even then, she could do different things with it. Also yes, that was a moon. It has been featured in every trailer so far.

+Dylan Hopson Yeah, it kind of improves over the course of each volume(Vol3 always looks beautiful). Still even in S1, the overall scene setting and cinematography makes up for it. The first scene in Vol3, the one with the monologue, is like Rooster Teeth going "hey guys, we have more budget now"

Yeah, good animation is something that is really rare. I mean, you are not wrong with the Witcher 3. It's fundamentally the same techniques they use. It's the animation of 3D objects/characters. And that is where Monty Oum (Rest in Piece) comes in. He was one of the best in animation. And (apparently) also pretty good in storytelling, at least for RWBY. The stuff he does, especially in the later volumes 2 and 3 (no spoilers) it really great. Great reaction btw. I also like your Supernatural reactions.

Blake cut the cars because Adam didn't care that the rest of the passengers would get hurt, and the stuff they needed to get rid of was on the carts behind Adam. Blake didn't wan't to hurt the passengers so that's why she cut the train cars apart. (idk if that is actually how you spell Adam's name so don't it's wrong)

Blake is my favorite of the main four girls but Yang's trailer is my favorite out of the four trailers, but Blake's trailer is really close because even though Ruby and Weiss's trailer was awesome in their own way their was some stuff that they dived in with Blake's trailer, making her into a more intriguing character. Just my opinion. Adam was willing to hurt innocent people to get what he wanted and Blake didn't want any part of it, which is why she left. Great reaction by the way.
