LOL you are one of the first reactors I have seen that got through the whole quote at the beginning without pausing the video! Excellent work! Now when you do the black trailer, if you can avoid saying "Why did she do that?" at the end you will definitely be in the most rarified air for RWBY reactors! :) I am very much enjoying your reactions to this. And as far as waiting, if you can wait for it (I know I wouldn't be after seeing all 4 trailers) that is fine, I do like the reactions to come out on a more than 1 a week basis!

Weiss the girl in the white trailer is pretty epic and her abilities are epic but all and all brother now you are starting to see why I got so addicted to this series. So after Red Riding Hood, we meet Weiss Schnee, or if we translate to sensible english, Snow White(hence the song about the mirror), with some added motifs from Snow Queen(the theme of loneliness and alienation, etc). As the first trailer's song said "White is cold and always yearning, burdened with a royal test", so its only fitting that her song would be sadder. All of the trailers happen before the start of series(some further some closer to the start). While Red trailer has the character fight off bunch of giant wolves after visiting a gravestone, White trailer has the character reminiscing fighting a giant armor and while it does have less context, it does explain her scar by the right eye being from it. And yeah, the songs are sort of about characters themselves. Red is the unifying factor so it only makes sense that her song would contain all of them, while White sings about her loneliness and fear of losing who you are as you mature, as well as hiding your fears from others, yet still being tortured by them.

Also just a little bit of info if you want to delve deeper into the show: The lyrics in the songs during these trailers are information about the characters themselves, as if they're the ones saying them. If you ever get the time try rewatching it and pay close attention the lyrics and try to figure out what it's saying about the character herself. Loving the enthusiasm in your reactions. The trailers are mainly there to show off the abilities of the 4 main characters. But one thing that I really love that Roosterteeth is doing is that the lyrics of the songs used in the trailers give more depth into the personalities to the characters. You see similar trends in the series where the songs with lyrics either characters, their relationships with others, or even past, current or even future events, though it's vague enough that it'll take a little while into the series to realised what it meant.

The singing is her in real time, the fight with the giant knight is in the past. You can tell that by the blood disappearing in the end and u see a scar over her left eye..

I'm pretty sure the fight is a flashback -- something she's remembering as she sings. It's hard to see, but as she sings (even right at the start) she has a scar over her left eye, right where she was cut during the fight.

Keep in mind that some episodes in the first season are only 5-6 minutes. It wouldn't be nearly as hard as you think to do two episodes every other day, especially since some of them are two-parters and actually should be watched in pairs. It didn't occur to me until right now how easy it is to tell that Weiss was based off of Snow White, Rich girl locked in her home(Only the father is the abuser, not the step mother.) An in the lyrics of her song it said, "Mirror, tell me something, tell me whose the loneliest of all." That song just screams exactly what type of person she is, She's talking to the mirror on the wall, but also saying that she is the loneliest because when the evil stepmother asked whose the fairest, she wanted the mirror to say that she was. So implying that Weiss feels lonely in this environment, when hundreds of people are watching her, when she's surrounded, she still feels lonely.

Were you thinking of Sailor Moon? It was probably the most mainstream mahou shoujo anime featuring a blond with long hair when you were younger. Beyond that, I wouldn't know much; I was more into things like Pumpkin Scissors, or Claymore.

I think that the anime you used to watch as kid was either Sailor Moon or Naruto because Naruto used to have this power where he would turn into a half naked girl with blonde hair when he would either mess up transforming or just to drive the teacher mad. Anyway I really haven't seen RWBY either.

All team RWBY characters is based on Grimm Characters. Ruby (red trailer) is based on Red Riding Hood. Weiss Schnee (litteral German translation Snow White) is based on ... well Snow White with her "Knight in shining armor" and the lyrics of the song is "Mirror, mirror, tell me something... who is the loneliest of them all" (also titled Mirror Miror) and the magic team My sister back in the day always said that she resemble the evil witch much more than Snow White lol

Traveling Reactor Blake Belladonna (a.k.a Black Beauty) paired up with Adam Taurus (assumed as Beast) in her trailer. But I'm one of the people that is more convinced Blake is based on both Beauty and the Beast "Black the beast descends from shadow" - Red like Roses (red trailer) lyrics well Yang actually fits alot of thing because her trailer is ambitious, it could be either Goldilocks, Rapunzel and another I can't recall. Eventually monty confirmed it as Goldilocks "Yellow beauty burns gold"

Traveling Reactor well... it is in their name actually Cinderella? Ring a bell? lol Cinder mean ashes and she has the ability to summon/control fire to her wimps. She also has 2 glass slippers tatoo-ed on her back. The huntress is named Glynda Goodwitch. She is based on Glinda the Good Witch of the South from The Wizard of Oz. I don't know if she classified as a princess. She accompanies Professor Ozpin btw.
